Interested to see if they could make Oliver becoming the next Ra's al Ghul work. I could see Oliver taking up the role and then handing the reigns to Malcolm Merlyn. Merlyn's trained by the league and will also still be alive, but won't be in Thea's life as much.

As for the three week break, I've got 10 American shows on the go at the moment and I believe Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead are the only two that haven't gone into a break. Stupid considering they've just come back from the Christmas break, but they like dragging their series' out over there.

Spoiler: Incase anyone isn't keeping up with US episodes

I don't like the idea that Ra's Al Ghul is a title as opposed to a man, what does it make Nyssa and potentiall Talia down the line? Imo Oliver should take the mantel of leader of the league, would add a great change in the dynamic, Palmer as Atom can develop in Starling, and willing to bet Laurel goes off to train with Nyssa so Laurel's developing of skills can be fast tracked but still don't think she looks right as the Canary after Sara.

Not sure if we are expecting them at any point this series but hopefully the Suicide Squad make a return at some point, its a great crossover potential with Flash as Snart would make a great addition to the squad. Snart, Deadshot, Cupid or whatever her name was and another would make a strong squad.

On the Flash side of things I don't expect to see Grodd again till next season, with Reverse Flash and the whole time travel coming up there's no need for him this series. I still kinda like the idea that Harrison Wells is actually an older Barry Allen who has gone missing during Crisis (the paper from the future) and Wells/Barry realises he needs his younger self to be better/quicker than he was which is why he is pushing younger Barry. They've said the blood on the wall was from Barry when he was older, they didn't say how much older. The only thing would be why Wells emits a red blur behind him when young barry has a yellow blur.

Mark Hamill returns as his old Trickster role soon and think its based off his previous appearance and 20 years later, would expect their just cashing in on Hamill's name being linked to Star Wars again.

So The Flash returned with a phenomenal episode. So much happened. They also brought in another actor who starred in 'Spartacus' and it was Spartacus himself. Well, post series 1 Spartacus. (R.I.P Andy Whitfield).

Arrow To End Next Season With Shorter Run

The CW's longest-running on air DC Comics series, 'Arrow', will end with its upcoming eighth season. That season, which begins this Fall, will also be half the regular size clocking in at just 10 episodes.

I would imagine Batwoman is likely to be picked up for next season and effectively replacing 'Arrow' as the most serious dark drama series of the four shows.
