Time to sack Wenger and get Ancelotti in before someone else does?

It would certainly be better for Arsenal but Wenger will never be sacked, no matter what happens regarding the club's results and form. The owners simply don't have the bollocks to rock the boat and do what is right medium to long term. If they were the decision for Wenger going or staying at the end of last season wouldn't have been in his hands because there wouldn't have been a new contract on the table in the first place. Arsenal will only be allowed to move on when Wenger himself decides to move on.

Going to Arsenal tomorrow - better watch out for the Arsenal TV mob if Brighton get a result!

What crisis ??

When someone has that many trainers, it speaks of someone who has an empty mind and are frankly rather dull people who don't know what to do with their wealth or how to really enjoy it. I seem to remember hearing about Kevin Prince-Boateng owning hundreds of baseball caps as well.

Arsenal are doing well now, and are exactly where they would realistically want to be. One point ahead of Burnley.

We're above Liverpool now. So the question needs to asked.

Just how rubbish is Oxlade Chamberlain?

The FA Cup is rubbish. I can't imagine most people within the club are particularly bothered.

Maybe not if they win something else but its all Arsenal have won for a few years - still better than Spurs or Liverpool I guess.

Just realised Arsenal are 8 points behind 4th after their loss today. I recall the Arsenal board saying they'd review Wenger's second year of his latest contract at the end of the season. You have to say they won't finish top 4 yet again short of a meltdown by one of the current top 4 teams (and Spurs). He surely has to go in May, no one can excuse him any more.

Might do a Man U and get CL qualification via the Europa.

Wouldnt be shocked if he was offered a Sporting Director role nor suprised if a yes man was appointed 'Head Coach'.

Don't think they will ever rid themselves of Wenger personally.

They have to. Him moving upstairs would male the job of any incoming manager impossible.

Wenger is and will always be an Arsenal legend.

However this isn't a sudden or even temporary slip in form. This has been a slow and steady decline.

When he first came England he was ahead if the game, certainly ahead of the English game but football has moved on and I don't think Wenger knows where. He's floundering trying different formations and playing people out of position in a desperate attempt to fix something he knows is wrong.... He just doesn't know why or how it's wrong.

As an Arsenal fan it's very sad to see, but I think it's time to move on. The squad needs a big overhaul and it can't be Wenger than orchestrates it.

No, a legendary manager who no longer has what it takes.

It's the same old issue though, namely that Wenger seems physically incapable of walking away, despite knowing that deep down it would be best for both him and the club. Nothing has changed since I made the same comments back in the summer before he signed his new 2 year deal. The board need to grow some bollocks and get rid of him.

Wenger has given Arsenal everything and still tirelessly looks for, whatever could be left, to give them. There has never been a greater servant than Wenger.

If loyalty still exists in this world, it should be shown to him.

So Arsenal should allow Wenger to remain in the job simply because he's has it a long time and has done well in the past? Sorry, that's not healthy for either the club or him, not to mention the fact football, like it or not, is a business. And Arsenal will suffer if he stays there.

The guy clearly doesn't know his time is up, and was some time back. He should have left in the summer. The decision needs to be taken out of his hands. And I suspect it finally will be this summer when they don't make the CL spots again. Unless they do what the chimp suggests, and do a United via the Europa. That will probably give him some breathing space.
