For someone who spent most of his career as a midfielder or winger 9 goals in 130 games is pretty rancid.

He really hasn't developed at all, fair play to him for somehow getting 200k p/w+.

Versatile and homegrown is a potent combination.

There's no way he'll be getting 200k p/w+. About the only player at Chelsea likely to be on that kind of wage is Hazard.

Tbh if I were Chelsea I'd (be very large obvs) offer less than the reported 180k that Arsenal offered and test wether or not his move is about silverware or something else.

He's a good squad player for them to have and offers competition to Moses, but I'm okay with losing Ox. I would prefer it not to be to Chelsea though.

We have the opposite problem to Chelsea, a big squad but shit starting 11.

Gibbs, Bellerin, Wilshere, Ramsay, Ox etc haven't pushed on. Read quite a few things over the years from ex players who have said Wengers training methods are limited and the squad largely plays 5 asides.

Think in a year or 2, you'll see a much better Ox.

Possibly true, their top players have either turned up great - Sanchez, Cech, Cazorla or Ozil - and the rest have stalled badly.

Only possibly Koscielny has really developed into a significantly better player than when he arrived.

Wilshere can't even get a move to a Premier League club at the moment.

Is George Osbourne running Arsenal's finances? Fell out of the champions league but trying to cut their way to recovery.

We will see Arsenal quickly descend into the lower reaches of the league imvho. Can't quite believe how lacking of any proper quality this Arsenal team now is. Everton have a better squad!

Just our luck that the one player who doesnt want to ditch Arsenal's sinking ship is Giroud, the one who we wanted!

Something going around that we're being used as security in Kroenke's loan to build a stadium for the LA Rams? Which is kind of funny. We're in perennial austerity for the benefit of new infrastructure projects, not even our own.

Another thing is apparently there are PL spending rules we're falling afoul of because of our massive wage bill. I don't know, eh.

It's a shocker for those of us who grew up and have only ever known Arsenal as a top team. I think it's over for you. Not taking the piss, just calling it as I see it.

New stadium does look sick though. I think it's well worth Arsenal turning shit for it to be built.

He's using Arsenal as his funding for a lot of projects including that PPV channel where he goes around shooting lions and elephants.

Good point Steven. Now hear me out, maybe just maybe Arsenal are a shambles on and off the pitch?

I'm not sure I understand this. If I use my house as security to start a business, it doesn't mean I'm going to start pissing on the grass and scribbling on the walls. Isn't this just something that sounds bad if you don't think about it?

Anywho, Oezil has told Arsenal pundits to "stop talking and start supporting", which is another reason to love the guy.
