This is a interesting statement from that report. It really hits home to people who live in no-go areas of the UK overtaken by Islam.

I don't think you'll find many people defending Daesh. I don't think you can equate what's happening in Syria with all of Islam.

I thought that too.

Maybe there was more to it in that perhaps the victims were expected to pledge allegiance to, and carry out work for, ISIS itself rather than simply convert to Islam which would be easy enough to lie about as you say.
