Are we really discussing how hard neo-nazis and antifa are? :err:

There is no point in trying to convince someone that thinks in such binary terms. Or someone that is on a wind up. Or someone that is Carver.

I remember once there being this big 'right wing' guy who just pounded his way right through a whole mob of them and while he was doing it he felt bad because he could tell they had never been in a fight before.

File under "things that never happened".

Wiping them all out has been going well for the last 15 years or so I guess? How do you propose we do this?

By sending our troops into Syria and finding and killing their leaders.

Airstrikes can only do so much.

You like this whole "pounding" thing, don't you? You've mentioned it before. Tough. Hard. Violent.

And a whole 'mob' of who, exactly? Did this 'guy' attack children? Or old ladies? Or are you just making this up?

I could be making it up I'm not sure, I'll have to get a nerd to look it up for me.

You'd be in that military force, would you?

btw, most of these terrorists lived in the suburbs of London, Manchester, Brussels, Paris, Nice, etc. Do you propose sending troops into Barnet and Wythenshawe to lay waste to the nasty people there? The London attackers seemingly had links to Morocco and Libya, so are these two more countries we should invade? To ease the pressure on your head, should we just invade those countries whose names start wth the letters M through Z? Should take care of most of them.

I would not be in that force because I'm not a fighter, I'm a thinking man.

Now we would just need to go for ISIS's leaders in Syria because once they are the dead the rest of the organisation will crumble as there will be no leadership and of course so will their propaganda.

"Thinking man" haha. Happy to send others off to kill but no bottle in you to do it yourself? You should be a politician mate.

You are right though as since Osama got knocked off and the countless other "top dogs" we've seen a massive reduction in terrorist incidents and recruitment.

If only it was as simple as that. Ignoring the complete diplomatic mayhem that will follow us putting boots on the ground, it's an absolute grind in countries like this to "wipe them all out". Look how strong Al-Qaeda still are after what, 10+ years in Afghanistan from NATO.

These geezers aren't looking for a fair fight, Mosul has been surrounded by thousands of Iraqi troops for almost a year and ISIS are still going strong. Sending in the troops isn't the answer. You say how they will crumble when their leaders have been killed but just have a search on the internet and see how many "leaders" we've eliminated to no overall effect. One dies another takes their place.

Supporting the home countries like Iraq and Syria I'm all for, they will make progress in the long term but we need to help them make sure there's no power vacuum for them to creep back into like there was when this whole thing got out of hand.
We need to wise up back home and adapt to this new phase of attack there's no doubt about that, the powers that be will make the calls on how we carry this out. I don't think there's any easy fix for now.

:fl:

No, stop it! Seriously, you should do stand up!

But perplexed to see you are volunteering the lives of thousands of troops for your cause, anyway.

How do you know that's where ISIS leaders are?

Looks like we can do away with the world's intelligence services now Inspector Redfox is on the case.

I think Redfox genuinely has a hard on for this lone 'right wing' guy, some form of post-modern hero who saves Christians from the infidel and gets back on hijab-wearing terrorists. This 'right wing' guy pops up frequently in his posts. Lone 'right wing' guy...let's call him Carver for convenience....is industrious, honest, kind to orphans, waits for the green man to cross roads and refuses to masturbate on Fridays (unless out of complete necessity); he is muscular and can swing through cleaver-wielding swarthy mobs with his bare fists, hammering a blow for 'thinking men' everywhere. He's the Indiana Jones in that market-place scene, he's James Bond, he's a real-life Johnny English. Carverman...here to save us.

I would have more sympathy if, an hour before you posted this, you hadn't tried to kick off another thread about an Islamist attack. Funnily enough, it wasn't "One you probably didn't hear of". But I can assure you we were awaiting your latest solutions based upon your theory that they wouldn't have allowed this in Nazi Germany had that thread not been swiftly closed down.

But I am sure you will get the chance to provide nothing practical or pragmatic, garnished with plenty of sound-bites about "the left" or "politicians", and a homily to 'right wing guy', the next time an atrocity happens.

fwiw, did they delete your posts about the white supremacists murdering Indians in Kansas, murdering two in Portland, murdering Sikhs in Wisconsin and shooting people at the Quebec City mosque? I have searched for them but don't seem to be able to find them.

Sigh..

Something occurring near the Champs - Elysees.

Shots fired and reports of a car running in to a police van and catching fire.
