We threw that away horribly in the second half. 2 defeats in a row and given our record against Eastleigh it will be 3 in a row after Monday.

Given how Tranmere are going the title is Dagenham's to lose at the moment

Never in doubt, didn't even need any strikers on the pitch. :D

Thank goodness for second halves and substitutions.
Its time to start Zavon Hines, he changed the game when he came on. Tom Wraight has shown nothing so far and im not quite sure why Jay continues to start him.

Are you just going to keep chirping up every time we get beat you sad sack?

You might get your wish sooner rather than later.

My wish? Shouldn't it be your wish?

You pools fans are weird. It's as if you don't want your football league status back.

I want you and Tranmere back in the league.

Piss poor, no idea, only looked like scoring when we through the kitchen sink at them.

Alabi is not good enough for this level and norburn has been non existent the last 4 games.

Too many little 6 yard passes around the midfield giving opponents time to get behind the ball.

Lost the crowd for a period today too

Agree on Hines. Have been impressed every time he has played.

Bloody hell ....... could have had 11/2 for beating the Shots and they haven't beaten us for about 3 seasons when the referee denied us a penalty just before half time when Mahon rounded the keeper, who the hauled him down. Ref's decision .... goal kick. The god's shine on us for this fixture all right including that 8-2 two season's ago. Jolly good fillip after the shite we've suffered so far this season.

I did provide you with a brief synopsis of Norburn pre-season. It seems he's playing true to form. You just have to hope ge doesn't get too frustrated especially if the opposition start time wasting feigning injury :eyes:

Gifted Fylde the first goal after Harrison was turned inside out, knocked the ball across the 6 yard box the bloke couldn't miss, after that it was simply all downhill, you got the impressions the players don't know where they are supposed to be playing? Munns, Newton and Donaldson are just anonymous.

I was all for giving the manager time but that was utterly diabolical, we have got worse week after week, there are 700+ Pools fans going to Guiseley on Monday, perform like that in front of them and it'll be fucking toxic, no places to hide in a ground like that.

Credit to Fylde, deserved winners today, didn't take much to beat us but they did, with ease.

What an improvement second half! Hines and Paxman changed the game, and Lewis was back to his dominant self in the middle.
Sutton looked very ordinary in the end, despite the fact they should have been a couple up at half time.

Spot on but they will win their fair share of games. If you want to be near the top this are the games you need at least a point from.

Not even going to bother predicting our game at home to Bromley other than there will be lots of goals. We will spank a team soon don't think it will be this game though.

And smash someone we did, probably were lucky we could have easily had double figures. I was expecting more from Bromley but perhaps grass is not there thing.

Decent start to the season but tough game on the plastic Monday.

The thing with Hines is that he's basically a phone a friend option on who wants to be a millionaire, you get about 3 go's then your on your own.

Jesus, we really left it late to scramble a draw. Our current tactics are just not working - going long to Alabi/Norwood or playing it on the deck with Cook. No width today and Harris, Mangan and Cook had to come on to save Mellon what could have been a pretty frank discussion at FT.

I fear Palios will begin to lose patience soon. I really want Micky to repeat last season's form under his management, but he's doing himself no favours with ludicrous selections and poor tactics. Got the subs right today and that saved everyone from a meltdown.

After we played you and stole a 1-1, you said we were the worst team you'd played since you beat Grimsby 8-1. Well I'll tell you something mister .... I wouldn't swap places with you lot for a gold clock. You look doomed already. The final prediction table on FootballWebPages has you finishing bottom of the pile. I know ... it's bollocks ..... but it's starting to look as though you need some changes already.

Oh, and Boreham Wood have officially claimed the title of "Dickheads of the Season". Rolling around the floor feigning injury, kicking the ball away at every opportunity, diving, surrounding the officials - even the manager was moving the ball into the back of the dugout to waste time!

Horrible club, by far the worst in our time down here. Seems to run right through the club.

I think that is the only time we have beaten you out of 9 games now. Even when we were thrashing everyone at home early last season you still got a 0-0 out of us.

We were very poor today. The worst second half this season.

The biggest of our many issues is the way use, or don't use, Cook. Whatever personal issues he has with him, Mellon will have to make him the focal point of the team or lose his job. He is by far our best striker and we don't look like scoring a goal when he is not on the pitch.

This is literally what Lincoln did last season but everyone branded it as 'clever' and 'gamesmanship'.

Fully agree. Sadly, it does appear to be the blueprint to promotion.

What RLC says. We didn't look likely to score until Cook came on and if Mellon persists with leaving him out, then we may be looking for another new manager.

See also: Eastleigh. Enjoyed their bellend of a manager offering out the home fans after we equalised in time added on caused by their relentless timewasting.

Especially andrade, yet he is far too good a player to need to do that
