See also: Eastleigh. Enjoyed their bellend of a manager offering out the home fans after we equalised in time added on caused by their relentless timewasting.
That's not Eastleigh, that's Richard Hill. Eastleigh actually played some good stuff last year until Hill returned. Hill is an animal - was Brian Little's assistant here and was sacked for allegedly having a fight in training.

Boreham Wood have been at it for ages. They tried to charge us for highlights last season, which we refused and led to this glorious recreation:
.

Their chaiman also issued the following statement with regards a fixture being brought forward: http://www.thenonleaguefootballpape...r-fumes-at-ridiculous-tranmere-rearrangement/
* Almost every player he said was unable to make it played.

Unfortunately, their off-field antics appear to have made their way onto the field of play.

Our game with Eastleigh was a tight game between two evenly balanced sides, neither gave too much away - But they scored their penalty in the first half and we missed ours. Having said that, we were the only ones trying to create chances and openings.

Second half Eastleigh went very compact in the middle and forced us wide, we didn't deliver enough qaulity despite having the ball for virtually the whole second half. Eastleigh did a number on us and were quite good at it, but they really, really tired in the final ten minutes and we layed siege to their goal with Josh Coulson up front as well. The goal was scrappy, I'm not even sure it crossed the line but I will take it.

Eastleigh's time wasting caught up with them, Graham Stack went down in stoppage time which led to another minute being added and we scored within that time.

We're slowly getting something going it seems, but its going to take time still, we still have a lot of brain farts at the back when defending.

Charlie Lee now out for the first half of the season for us, thats a huge blow.

Unbeaten on grass still, until Monday when Maidenhead beat us.............

I think that is the only time we have beaten you out of 9 games now. Even when we were thrashing everyone at home early last season you still got a 0-0 out of us.

That was because Sam Hughes (now Leicester City) was given a run of games in his best position of centre half.

Probably because the referee was not stood at the side of the goal with a zoomed in camera.

No he was stood in the d looking directly at the goal. With a linesman ( not sure what they do) standing to the side of a goal.

A ref not seeing a ball punched off the line is inexcusable no matter how you spin it mate

Our first win of the season and the first game I've missed, typical. Delighted to get 3 points and can't comment on Hartlepool as I didn't see them but by all accounts they were really poor so hard to tell if we played well or not. Barrow on Monday which is a massive game for us as we're on tv for the first time and also because there is no love lost between the 2 sides. Looking forward to it

Oh, and Boreham Wood have officially claimed the title of "Dickheads of the Season". Rolling around the floor feigning injury, kicking the ball away at every opportunity, diving, surrounding the officials - even the manager was moving the ball into the back of the dugout to waste time!

Horrible club, by far the worst in our time down here. Seems to run right through the club.
Thought everyone knew that B-Wood were the biggest dicks in this division?

We should be top of the league. Every game (except Dagenham on the opening day) we come away saying "we should have won that".

Maidenhead were crap, admittedly without Tarpey, and we failed to capitalise on about 60 minutes of dominance. Yussuf and Harrison looked a good combination when they played the last 15 minutes - I'd go as far as saying they could be the best strike partnership we've ever had. Defence switched off for their goal and we spent the rest of it huffing and puffing.
This season's got lower mid-table written all over it.

At this rate Hartlepool and Tranmere are going to get relegated.

Why are Chester fans so precious about being the worst team we've played for 14 years? Isn't it obvious? You're non league and shit, we have never been until this season, so what the fuck do you expect? Get over yourselves. You're shit, we're shit. It's a shit league full of crap teams. And yes before you start bitching on, we are one of them.

My wish? Shouldn't it be your wish?

You pools fans are weird. It's as if you don't want your football league status back.

I want you and Tranmere back in the league.

I would love it back but we're never to return I'm afraid. The club is cursed/crooked and I genuinely can't see how we're going to turn this around. We can go on about sacking managers but we've tried that god knows how many times, has it helped us? Yes Harrison looks to be a horrendous appointment but he still needs time. The common denominator is the club and players have largely not changed and the problems run very deep.

The reality is, we're going to be leapfrogged by Darlo and good luck to them. A proper we'll run club with players and staff that care. Everything we're not basically.

I would feel sorry for the Hartlepool fans, but they had 12 reprieves before last season, this has been coming for decades.

It serves Hartlepool right for appointing someone like the club tea lady as their manager.:lol::lol:
