Yeah, around 2k for us. It fluctuates depending on the police so can be between 1.8k-2k.

There's also that small covered stand at the side of the pitch (put in because the away stand was going to have its roof taken off ahead of the now Covid/inflation delayed expansion and we have to provide at least some covered seating for away fans), which holds 200 so perhaps up to 2.2k.

Depending on how the season is going, it's possible you'd only get the 1,600 seats in the South Stand.

With decent crowds towards the end of the season, we started using the South Habbin for Home Fans, even though we rarely sold out the home ends.

There's a good chance you'll get the 800 capacity South Habbin terrace but not guaranteed and it's unlikely we'd give it to Ipswich or Posh.

Approximately 1.2k for The New Lawn, most of it is an open terrace that runs the length of the pitch, with a small stand (nicknamed the bus stop) in the south west corner that holds maybe 120-150.

I know.

That was an evening game back in October and you helped deliver one of our biggest crowds but the home end was 1,000 short of sold out. I think we only sold out Luton and Ipswich, with Sunderland and Portsmouth coming close.

As I said, I hope you'll get the terrace as well as the South Stand - your support deserves it. But I expect us to have home fans on the South Habbin for most games, even if we don't sell out home capacity. And I'll be very surprised if we give Posh or Ipswich use of the terrace.

Not entirely sure ours is 1.2k anymore with the new away stand, might be slightly less but yoy do have a roof now. We could always open up extra home blocks next to the away seating if the demand was there; I guess

It’ll depend on which stand we choose to give away fans next season. If it’s the Hamil Road end it holds 4500 but will be limited a bit lower than that or if go ahead with swapping the ends like we did in the playoff semi the Bycars holds about 3700 I think.

We had 2,200 I think in the Bycars. I know the blocks in front of us were covered over but would that have been where the extra 1,500 were? Also by segregating the Bycars you had to close off that corner bit. I imagine you'll revert away fans back to the Hamil given the potential seat loss for home fans if the play off game is anything to go by.

Ours will be reduced next year to about 1,500. Combination of higher expected number of home fans and TVP. It's still higher than the 10% EFL regulations stipulate, before you all complain.

Think I read online that ours will be reduced to just the south stand (free seated tent) next season for away fans.

He meant home fans

I did mean home fans but MK only got the South Stand. Our own fans were on the South Habbin terrace and we were well short of selling out.

1,448 MK in a total of 6,325.

I'm fairly sure that we only had away fans on the terrace (i.e. more than 1,450ish) for Wednesday, Ipswich, Sunderland and Luton.

Edit: Just checked and we didn't give Luton the South Habbin - we filled it ourselves. So only 3 games with away fans getting/needing more than 1450.

1,224 is our away capacity, unless some ingenious way to remodel and subdivide one of the behind-goal terraces to allow more in from bigger clubs emerges. Think it's unlikely that it will but you never know.

Imagine we'll have several away sell-outs this year. Up to now only localish clubs (both Bristols, Swindon, Newport, Cheltenham, Exeter and I think Plymouth) have done so.in the past.

In amongst some of the excitement about trips to Wednesday and Derby etc am pleased to see we’ve got Oxford back on our fixture list for next season. Always been a popular away day for Vale fans going back to when you played at the old ground.

Remember your visit on Boxing Day 2003, beat us 3-2, that pig bastard Adrian Littlejohn scored.

Last season we had sellouts from Sunderland, Sheffield Weds, Ipswich, Plymouth and Oxford, with Wigan and Bolton both close to selling out.

Portsmouth may have done as well.

Ipswich and Sunderland were particularly impressive given the distance, and the fact they were Tuesday night games.

I expect Derby to replace Sunderland as one of next season's big away followings.

Scored a stunner both home and away if I recall. He was booed to high heaven!

He did, the one at VP we beat Wednesday 3-0 I think and then Horton resigned a day or two later with us around the playoffs. The game at Hillsborough was great though, think there was over 30000 there that day and we took a fair old away support too. Beyond that a couple of decent sort of derby games with Shrewsbury and Burton as well to look forward to.

We sold out Cheltenham also.

We’ll sell out Forest Green if it’s on a Saturday.

Whether Tuesday or Saturday match it's guaranteed that FGR will sell out away end at Whaddon Road, as they always do.

Would have thought for FGR bearing in mind some of the clubs such as Wednesday who will be visiting next season you could also give them one of the stands behind the goal to maximise revenue. Obviously I know there’ll be STH’s who will need to be considered. Be worth considering as an exception though as they’ll guarantee to sell it out.

In Conference days the stand nearest road was the Away stand.
When promoted to the EFL apparently the away fans had to be moved to stop them using same toilets as home fans.
FGR then spent a small fortune erecting a seated bus shelter to accommodate EFL ground regulations. They could have spent the money more wisely by adding a set of toilets to that stand.
As it is FGR have shot themselves in the foot. Away supporters have the entire length of pitch to influence the game.
A lot of FRG supporters were less than happy to forego watching game from the 'Wet' West Stand because it was closer to the action and the sun was on their backs. Those in the VIP stand have to squint to watch game whenever sunny.
And the prevailing wind and rain is from the west, so those standing in West Stand are less bothered by getting wet than those opposite in the VIP East Stand who get soaked in the face.

We give up to 1500 tickets to big followings - FGR have never sold 1000.
I don't have FGR's away number for games at Whaddon Road but I remember there was always controversy about how many attended matches there. Therefore I'll amend my remarks and say that when FGR are guests at Cheltenham they will bring one of the biggest away followings.

Fortunately, I do:

2015 – 804
2018 – 765
2019 – 944
2020 – 0 (for obvious reasons).

Based off the top of my head, the 2019 figure would be around the 10th highest.
