He passed through waivers too. Not that I think the Marlins would actually trade him mind.

Homer number 49 for Judge ties McGwire’s rookie record.

Judge is past McGwire now.

He hit .208 in July and August and still has 50 homers and a .283 average.

First play off series since 2012, fuck yes!

I’m actually quietly confident given the way our roster is built. Queue the Indians sweeping us in 3.

Anyone know why Girardi didn’t challenge the hit by pitch? Anyone???

Because he's an arrogant toolbag who trusts Sanchez about as far as he can throw him.

I’m still angry about it.

Don't blame you, probably the turning point in the whole game. And maybe its hyperbole, but that decision might cost the Yankees the series and Giradi his job.

Amazing how many starting pitchers, who have been excellent in the regular season, have turned into hot garbage in the play offs so far. Severino, E.Santana, Grienke, Gray, Kluber, Kershaw. Incredible how many have been terrible.

Well we lasted longer than the Red Sox at least. If we lose game 5 we put up a fight against the best team in the AL, so no shame in losing in 5 to them.

Fantastic series for the Yankees, wining 3 straight elimination games, and we really should have won 4 of 5.

We only won 2 of the 7 games against the Astros this year so not expecting much, but we’re playing well with no pressure. Just making the play offs exceeded expectations so this team is very much in credit, even if we get swept.

Caught the Cubs v Nationals last night, for my first game of the season and it was a belter. It was a close run thing and the pitchers were beginning to bottle it, but the Cubs managed to scrape through in the end and that's great.

Will probably watch one of the game 3's on Monday/Tuesday and take it from there.

The MLB and TV networks must be loving this, the 4 biggest cities in the final 4. You've got the "not supposed to be this good" Yankees, (which in itself is ludicrous, the amount of money they spend), the big spending Dodgers trying to end their post season woes, the defending Champion Cubs and the Astros trying to win their first World Series.

Got to think the Astros are the team most neutrals are rooting for. Would make for the nicest storyline given the floods and everything that area has gone through in the last few months. So inevitably, it'll be one of the Cubs/Yankees who win it.

The Yankees can never be likeable! I'll root for LA if the two of them meet in the World Series, which is looking likely ;)

Well the Dodgers are doing what the Yankees used to do, in that they’re throwing their money around. The only player in the lineup last night who didn’t come as the result of a trade or the farm, was Headley who is on $13m a year.

Aye true but they are more likeable and Kershaw seems like a good guy and with the record he's got, deserves a world series.

Well that was disappointing, especially as we failed to score a single run in games 6 and 7. Still, we’ve come a long way this year so hard to be too down.

Ah, screw your precious Yankees! ;) Only thing anyone should be caring about is this excellent World Series. Such a back and forth, tight series so far. Both teams bullpens have looked really shaky thus far, the late innings of the last 2/3 games should be fascinating to watch. Both teams praying their starters tonight don't get rocked early.

Difficult for me to care given the start times. And my precious Yankees aren’t in it either.

Absolutely shocked that Tanaka has not opted out of his contract.

The rotation for next year currently looks to be:

Severino.
Gray.
Tanaka.
??? Resign CC?
Montgomery.

I like the look of that!

Got the shock of my life the other night when they showed that Verlander's gf is none other than Kate bloody Upton; how the hell did he bag her!?! I know he's like the second highest paid in all baseball, but still!!
