so Liverpool undeservedly scraped through at home via a lucky penalty to win 1-0. the atmosphere would have been non existent if it wasn't for the Besiktas fans. i cant see Liverpool managing to win away in Turkey, the fans will be loud (something the liverpool lads wont be used to) and Besiktas rarely lose at home.

No, but that's a very natural development. Provided one team is not heavily superior, the team in the lead will always control the game less and less as time goes on. We were much more likely to score in the first half than in the second, but now that Besiktas equalized things should even out and eventually we'll look in control again.
