Interesting you pick the Abbey as a lower league ground. I mean, Obviously I like it but it doesn't strike me as a good away ground as the away end is miles from the pitch and the ground is some distance from any pubs.
Not if you're on a bicycle - lots of nice pubs in Romsey. I also like the setting of the Abbey in Coldham Common.

To be fair I think I've been in the home end more than the away at the Abbey! Got some family friends in Cambridge so we often pop along if there's a game on mid-visit.

There are loads of nice pubs in Romsey, I agree. But not many away fans go to games by bike!

Coldhams Common is a nice unspoilt area, it's just not got an awful lot nearby. I personally hope we stay there and redevelop rather than get permission to build elsewhere (fat chance of that!) but that's a selfish home fan decision rather than having consideration for away fans.

I took my bike on the train. Personally I much prefer a ground in town than stuck outside in some business park.

I'm a big fan of the Amex. Most modern grounds tend to be souless bowls, so it's nice to see something different.

Falmouth for being the only ground that has some cover on all four sides, and Penzance for its entrance and its stand.
Wadebridge is pretty good as well (large bank on 2 sides)

Craven Cottage, Bramall Lane, Hillsborough, Portman Road and White Hart Lane make up my top five. Id have Spurs just edging out Fulham for number 1, purely because the atmosphere at Spurs is usually one of the best in the Prem these days.

West Ham's will be poor.
It's an athletics ground,not a football ground.

The Shay is the best non-league ground. Always liked Field Mill and if Bristol Rovers sorted out their away end, I'd put that up their as well. These are all obviously lower league teams.

The Shay is the best for me from all our years in non league.
Expected it to be a shit hole for some reason but it is a fantastic stadium and the away terrace superb for noise.

Carrow Road, The Huddersfield Bowl, Hillsborough, Spotland & Wembley make up my top 5.

Since we have been in obscure part time regional football.........none (except maybe Aggborough for the food)!

Is that because you like The Valley or because you like three points?

Love the away day in general and spending the day in London. We don't always get 3 points, I remember the game where you beat us 2-1 in the final minute, the final nail in the coffin of our relegation.

Remember when we won 3-1 at your place too in our promotion season, Nick Baily scored a 30 yarder for you in the opening couple of mins, and then Sam Vokes came up with a couple of goals to get us out of the shit.

Then there is the game with that Sylvan Ebanks Blake goal...

All our games at the Valley seem to be decent to be fair, seen us lose a fair few to you aswell.

Yeah, I was just being facetious mate.

Remember all of the games you mentioned vividly. Particularly the 2-1 game, I didn't go as I was just moving into my new gaff that day and was putting up the dining room table when Jeff was announcing the winner, went to jump up and cracked my bloody head on the thing! Fucking Obika.
