Kenilworth Road: By the far the worst ground I have visited in the last 10 years. Entering through the front of somebodys house, going up the steps and viewing a row of outside toilets and garden sheds then getting in to find seats bolted on to terraces that are so close together that unless you are a child or a midget it`s near impossible to sit facing forwards. The toilet facilities are truly shocking for this day and age and completely unacceptable. I can`t believe that Health and Safety havent closed that away stand down. And as for the area around the ground. The least said about that the better. It was like visiting a very poor third world country. Sorry Luton fans but your ground is an absolute dump of the highest order.

Reading is a decent stadium for the view but it is a cold concrete bowl with no charm but one of the favs.

Been to loads of Newcastle United games, and i really like St James' Park. Football was dire last time i was there, but it's just a great day out from having a pint on Haymarket to walking up the steps and the Crack in the stand and bedlam if Newcastle Score.

Etihad Stadium is good too, as is the City Ground.. having mates who support both helps.

Notts County will be the one i look out for next year.

Top Five
-----------
Griffin Park: a pub on every corner. Whats there not to like
Old Trafford: Best stadium in the country
Aggborough; Best food
The Shay; Used to be total slum but the rebuild is nice and there are some great pubs in Halifax
Bolton (or Horwich); We hate them so much there always a great atmosphere.

Bottom Five
--------------
The New Lawn; Crappy little town, crappy little ground, crappy little club owned by a big mouth hippy gobshite and managed by a moaning crybaby who is the master of the dark arts.
Oakwell: We always lose there. Haven`t won at the place in 30 plus attempts
The Deva; Lego ground with major parking problems and no pubs for miles
Goodison; Just how a club of Everton`s status are still playing at that dump is beyond me. Hopefully the Victorian relic will be rightly consigned to history soon

Special mentions to Anfield (the stadium itself is great. It`s some of the creatures that inhabit it I find so disagreeable) and Tottenham (probably the most miserable place I have ever been to. Do Spurs fans have any facial expressions other than scowl?) and Wrexham and Barrow ( towns where the locals still think its the 1970s and that they are all hard men which they most certainly aren`t).
I agree about the Deva being a Lego ground, but hardly a problem parking. Massive car park and if you don't want to pay hundreds of spots on the industrial estate a short walk away.

Yes the car park is massive but getting off it and battling your way through the traffic coming out of the various retail outlets is not the best. Last time we went there it took us longer to get out of the carpark, down Bumpers Lane and onto Sealand Road then it did to get back home.

Anyway since I wrote my reply to the original thread I have had the great misfortune to visit Holker Street, home of Barrow FC and a ground that simply isnt up to FL standards, especially the visitors section which without putting to fine a point on it isn`t safe. Do they have a Health and Safety Department on their council and if so who is in charge of it. Who ever it is should really buy himself a guide dog.

I went there about 5 years ago last time we played them. It's a bit ramshackle, but there weren't really any safety issues.

Used to be Underhill. Fairly local, took decent numbers (for us), good atmosphere, terracing, friendly fans, what's not to like?
I remember going to watch arsenal reserves there and occasionally saw wenger walk his dog nearby. How is the hive?
