I think as insults go , hellogregory calling me a little *&$# is up somewhere ! My fellow Poolies and I have been down this road before ..... If you want to keep it as banter , and that means losing the same as you win , then I'm in , yes 300 odd years ago someone hung a monkey , and yes some one somewhere in Carlisle has wool in his zipper , and that's fair enough for a cultural mickey take .... any further and I'm afraid I'm oot !

I have my own self imposed rules on message boards , I never use foul language being aware that young kids may be reading , if I'm not agreeing with someone I will try to out banter/wit/humour them , and as I've previously mentioned , if I can get a 50 % win rate that's a success ... Im dissapointed in hellos post , I am sure it's not typical of the guy .....

I don't have any problem with the Carlisle fans on here, good posters and to be fair, there's always been needle between Pools and Carlisle. I do usually hope we beat Carlisle but that's just in the absence of Darlow. Have nothing much against them really.

Actually that was my fault. Since no Hartlepool fans made the transition from the old forum, when they started winning games and looked like they had a chance of escaping relegation I thought it would be a good idea to visit the Poolie Bunker and encourage some to sign up. Before then Hartlepool were just an unrepresented entity on this forum.

I regret that decision every minute of every day, but they were still in the bottom two when the first ones arrived.

We did used to have Mad John on the old forum but I hear he was responsible for the forum's demise... And he was the one who flooded Brunton Park.
