Liverpool are terrible but they're going to score eventually.

Though it's probably a lot down to the space given, Can has done really well in his natural position. Naturally, Brendan moves him to the back three again.

Been your best CB this season hasn't he?

Was always going to be hard for Bolton to hold on with ten men under all that pressure.

Nah, that would be Sakho, but Can really is wasted at the back. Hopefully we'll see a central midfield containing both Can and Henderson next season. Their type of players are perfect for a midfield two.

He's crazy good, truly world class, but his horrible injury record probably means Liverpool is his last stop.

A tough game tonight as expected and Liverpool made hard work of it, however they were the better team and are through thanks to two bits of real class. On to the next game. Palace away will be tough, they are one of Liverpool's bogey teams.

Only watched the first half, I thought Liverpool were embarrassingly bad.

Not sure they'll have enough to win at Palace but then again if they get another favourable ref who knows.

Hi mate, which bit did you disagree with?
'Embarrassingly bad' - they didn't play at their best admittedly but they still played ok and have played far far worse this season believe me! :D

Also the favourable ref nonsense, the ref definitely did Liverpool no favours at all tonight, with that dodgy pen decision, getting in the way when Liverpool were attacking and giving fouls to Bolton for absolutely nothing. The ref if anything made the game harder for Liverpool players to get any momentum going.

I thought they'd win tonight but it was too close and I'm just glad they are still in it after the way it went. Palace will be extremely tricky, especially if Bolasie plays as they can never seem to handle him for some reason!

That seems a little biased if you don't mind me saying mate.

Also how about that Zach Clough, looks a cracking talent. Be at Arsenal in 18 months I reckon.

Nice to see the rent boy back for Liverpool. Shame Eidur couldn't score the header for a second.
