The internet must be down in Suffolk then? ;)
I agree about McGoldrick and their 22 alongside Skusey looked decent. I thought just before Lukes goal that 'we've got them where we want them' as McGoldrick was dropping deeper and deeper to try and affect the game. Good player.
Given the time of year and distance I have to tip my hat to the number Ipswich brought but by god they were quiet. I suppose they didn't have much to sing about to be fair but good numbers anyway.

Well done Brizzle, nothing like a sore winner. :brill:

Luckily didn't waste my time again with the club.

Now you can see why I don't rate McCarthy and Berra. You can see why I laughed when someone suggested we were lucky to have McCarthy.

You'll get to experience it all over again when we smash you on the 30th

Highly likely!
Sounds like we tried to play open today which means defensively we're poor. When we sit back and defend we're good at it but have no attacking threat.

Wonder if you'll bring as many as we took to yours?

A penalty and a worldie to break us down as expected, was never going to be anything else, whilst we were goal shy.

Robbed IMO....
Good effort that! ;)
I was amazed that LF had never scored at the Gate though.
New song? 'How shit must you be when Luke Freeman scored'. :)

If calling LF 'Freezer' is good enough for Lord Lee Tomlin, who am I to argue V?

Ordinarily would agree, but Freezer scored one of the goals, in one of my top 3 ever City games so...

What a night that was!

I didn't get to sleep until gone 3 that night, such was the andrealin rush.

The less said about the first 85 minutes the better mind. Felt like the Cardiff home game from the season before, all over again.

Enjoyed that, not the greatest performance, but always nice to snap a losing streak with a nice and ultimately comfortable 2-0 win. We play a few off form teams now, so would be nice to go into Christmas on a bit of a run.

Ipswich looked ok, solid and workmanlike, but lacked any spark of quality to change what was a tight game. I think they're like us, will beat the poor teams but lose to the best in the division.

Clearly Luke Freeman has been saving himself with that strike - it was an absolute beaut, I genuinely can't think of witnessing many better at Ashton Gate in my 20 years watching.

Tomlin's against Huddersfield has to run it close pal.

Only seen the highlights but seems like a typical performance from us, decent at the back but little going forwards. I think McCarthy is fast running out of fans.
