It is absolutely stunning, love what they're doing with the lighting, the bowl effect is no where to be seen

Meanwhile nick Piggs has bought a new lawn mower.

I thought it was unrealistic, first there were flags in that crowd, and second the crowd at AG is never that loud

That wow factor will catch on and along with hopefully championship football, will bring larger numbers, I am sure.... As much as I liked the old Ashton gate, this is going to be one big progression !

Make sure there's an unreserved/safe-standing section at the back of the new East End and we're close to perfection.

As has been so often with me, the redevelopment was a year too late for me to witness- both high schools i went to got improved massively the year after I was last there, and I haven't been able to go much this season because of uni in Wales, but had a season ticket last year. Long story short, places get made better when im not there :gmc:

I thought it was dead realistic, especially that one where the camera emerges into the main stand lower tier. Loads of empty seats as per....

I think that video is superb and hopefully its a fair indication of what the real thing will be like.

The thing I like the most is that despite all the high tech and modern comfort, you can still see the shape of the atyeo and dolman and thus it will still look and feel like Ashton Gate we've always known and loved.. Just on speed! Best of both worlds imho.

Can only echo the thoughts posted, it looks fantastic. A far cry from the state of the place now.

As a former Eastender and sad to see that stand go, the progress being made instead is amazing to see.

Wow .... That is some rebuild, also gives an idea of the revenue that can be earned outside of the football / rugby with all the conference areas, reception areas and boxes etc ...... Wow

That's the difference with AG and Ashton Vale; we've no hotel and the Dolman (for such a large stand) will be purely match-day and nothing else when the concourse is redesigned.

You think the club wouldn't do too badly with just buying up the Dreams/Wickes site and redeveloping that as a further "entrance" and part of the site. Hotel and parking structure ... do it SL, just do it.

They're gonna need to get a bloody move on if they want this finished in time - miles off yet.

Looks absolutely superb, seeing the workman on the roof shows how big that stand is going to be, fair play city , your gonna have a stadium to be proud off.
Jealous, oh yes, just wish we could do something like that.

Looks like they're making rapid progress, won't be long before all the steelwork is us.

Once all the steelwork is up, I'm sure the rest will come together very quickly.

Can't be arsed to trawl through the thread, but will you still be at reduced capacity next season?
