He's having an enforced break until July, after his comments the other day.

Edit - happy to move our transfer runours to this thread. Will change the title if needs must.
It would save pissing the rest off if everyone's in agreement bud. I'm not trying to steal your thunder by the way, Mr Moderator sir (tips hat respectfully).

Makes sense too JJH. As CU says, it saves people moaning about all the posts from City fans.

What with it being so busy atm, very selfish of us clogging up the forum.

Right, first question.
Given we already have Marlon Pack, Korey Smith, Bobby Reid, Joe Bryan and Josh Brownhill as midfielders, where on earth are Tomlin, Dack and Hammill gonna play?

You forgot about Mousset, CU - got to fit him in somewhere, can't see him being happy turning out for the 21s!

Oh yeah!!
I was being a tad facetious in case someone hadn't noticed.
Given all the rumours around at the mo, we're gonna be lining up 0-8-2!! ;)

I imagine we'll loan out of a few of them. Bobby being a prime candidate I'd think.

With Moussett 442

................. Moussett .......... Kodjia
Tomlin ........ Smith .......... Pack/Dack .... Hammill

Without 451:

........................... Kodjia
Tomlin ................. Dack ............... Hammill
................. Smith .............. Pack

Or a new LW and move Tomlin central and Pack/Dack being rotated.

I'm quite surprised by that as it appeared Wade was finally getting some players from the U21's through to the first team squad.
I wish the fella success in whatever he does next.

Have you seen the barrs moat monster?

:ot:

As everyone else put where they're from (sort of) I'm the first of my family from Bristol, my Dad moved here from North London when he was young, he is an Arsenal fan and picked City as a second team because they played in red. Guess you could say that was a lucky escape for me!

I was actually born in Northern Ireland but my family were Bristol based. I arrived when mum and dad were back home seeing dads' family so you're not alone fella.

Not a clue mate, I could find out though as I'm quite pally with the Chairman of the group that looks after it but he's a bit of a nutter so I tend to give him a wide berth.

A message from Wade Elliott, copied from we8gas.

"Thank you.

It has been a privilege to have been a part of Bristol City's progress over the past 2 and a half years both as player and a member of the coaching staff.

To have players advance from the 21's and make their first team debut has been very rewarding for myself and all of the academy staff who have worked with them. Allied to this i was flattered to be asked to be joint interim first team manager for a crucial period in our season.

While disappointed to be leaving i would like to thank the many good people i have met and worked with during my time at the club and the supporters for the backing and the warmth they have shown me.

Regards,

Wade."

Hardly a non Bristolian as I've lived here since I was 6 DAYS old!! :told:
I can't see how Wade leaving leaves space for this Barnlsey bloke (Wright?) when he's their current assistant Manager? Pembo to the 21's?

Doesn't count unless you were born in Southmead ;)
