Yeah just seen he's deleted it, presumably has to wait for club to announce it, the other two can't be far behind.
Too late now anyway, absolute shambles.

No chance. Pembo taking the blame for LJs uselessness.

Un-fucking-believable!
Anyone but the problem isn't it?
I am falling further away from the club with every passing day and every fucktard decision they make.
Jamie Mac is the rumour, loved him as a player but what on earth has he done that will get us out of the shit?
Just sack the useless fuck and reunite the supporters FFS!

I think a lot of the love for Pemberton is pretty foundationless (i.e he's got passhun and thumps the badge therefore must be brilliant) but he was a part of a very successful time for the club and, having said the above, this just smacks of shifting blame and getting rid of dissenting voices. To claim that he's responsible for what's going wrong is ridiculous. He's probably got fed up, voiced his opinions and lost his job for it. To be replaced by McCallister who's got absolutely no experience, what other reason can there be other than he's a mate who'll go along with everything? And Des Taylor the scout as well, wtf is all that about. Getting rid of the underlings rather than addressing the real problem.

I'm generally optimistic and hopeful mostly, but over the last week I've lost any belief that we're going to sort this out. We've fucked it, we've well and truly fucked it

Pemberton would've kept us up. The bloke knows how to grind out results, which is exactly the way it should be done in the Championship.

Johnson said on the radio after it was a joint decision between himself and the board ie his choice.

Can't blame JMc for taking the promotion though, should LJ and Holden get the sack soon he's the only one around then for the temporary job.

For the first time in my memory, you've become a bigger joke than us

Not that I'm complaining, but sacking the assistant manager? :fl:

I don't disagree Gassy, it's anyone but the problem fella. Enjoy the moment as you've taken enough from us so it's pay back time. :ffs:
If you don't get up, see you next season as we are screwed!

Neither of us will change leagues this season mate, we're not the finished article yet, next season hopefully we'll give it a good go.

You lot will eventually sack LJ and when you do, the new boy will have his new manager effect and keep you up by about 4/5 points. And then repeat the season over and over until eventually you go down and either bounce back immediately or take 2 seasons. It seems to be a reoccurring theme with you lot in the Championship. Its basically how we were in L2 not so long ago.

I wish I had your optimism about sacking Lee Johnson. Getting rid of Pembo suggests Lansdown won't be sacking him soon.

I'm in total agreement with V Gassy. Lansdown won't sack his mate, absolutely no chance. We're down.
What is most frustrating is that it was totally avoidable. Our squad is decent for this level, let alone L1 but the coach is 'learning on the job' and you can't do that at Championship level. He is out thought tactically and gives little or no leadership to the team. Then after another shite game, he comes on the radio, all smiles and bullshit knowing he has the backing of the only person that counts. Uncle Steve then comes on and blames every other possible person / s apart from the stinking mess of a manager.
It's not jut this season now, so many fans have turned that this could take years, and I mean years, to rectify! The cardinal sin is to alienate and then split the support. That is exactly what Lansdown and the puppet have done.
'Bounce back'? Under this pillock, I'm not sure I care TBH. How sad is that? :(

To sum up how I feel, I've not even looked at the league table following last nights games.

I happened to tune into the radio last night just as Lee Johnson came on. He came over as a completely smug bastard basically insuating that any problems that had occurred had probably been sorted with the dismissal of Pemberton -- But did not actually say it in those exact words.
It seems to me him & Lansdown are very close as it was a joint decision to get rid of JP. It also came across that he won't be sacked anytime soon -- Perhaps he has something on Lansdown ?? Maybe the Matty Taylor transfer ?? We'll never know . But I reckon he will be still in charge next season wherever you end up.
I now understand why you lot are so het up --- We had the same thing with Buckle> But unlike Johnson he was just an arrogant *****.

Could be a good League 1 next season with loads of nearby games.

Pity we'll be in League 2. If only us fans could switch clubs but we're stuck with our choices. Tbh, we're all very similar decades of shitness interspersed with the odd year of, relative, success. Crap managers come and go - as do the good ones - owners are generally leaches

BUT

we all bounce back eventually

Good point, but SL has always struck me as a man who will not accept relegation...?

Surely, if you were 6 points from safety with 5 games to go, he'd get rid?

How did they even become best mates anyway? From his playing career there?

Based on fucking what

Look at the rugby club as well ffs, took em what 6 years to get out of that amateur league and then they invested in fuck all, he's more than content at going down.

No idea fella. I do know that Lansdown was very fond of his old man so assume it's come from there.
Your other question:
Yes he would as long as his puppy is still in charge. Don't forget, according to Lansdown, it doesn't matter as all the lost fans will be charging back once we're at the top of L1. We are obviously stupid. Arrogant tosser.

That's obviously from Wes Burns' old man.
Utterly scandalous if any of it is true! It's believable though.

Did SL pretty much say that? Forgive me but I'm not as up to date as obviously you lot would be.

My reasoning behind SL not accepting relegation is because he has sacked plenty in his time, but then I'm viewing that as a Rovers fan so it will always be different.

Watching that interview though does make me see your point.. LJ is staying no matter what, which is excellent news for me. But Jesus, the amount of trust they have in him is unreal, I very nearly felt sorry for you for a moment there
