Did SL pretty much say that? Forgive me but I'm not as up to date as obviously you lot would be.

My reasoning behind SL not accepting relegation is because he has sacked plenty in his time, but then I'm viewing that as a Rovers fan so it will always be different.

Watching that interview though does make me see your point.. LJ is staying no matter what, which is excellent news for me. But Jesus, the amount of trust they have in him is unreal, I very nearly felt sorry for you for a moment there
Piss taking I can live with Gassy, sorrow I can't!

Have to disagree with the stuff in all that about O'Dowda, £1.4m for a guy who has a very bright prospect and is holding his own in the games he plays, if that really is Wes' dad whose said that seems some bitterness potentially as didn't Callum start on the right with us? Potentially keeping Wes out. Also I know a guy at Oxford, from what he's said they're not laughing about the fact we signed O'Dowda.

Don't feel sorry for us, we lapped it up wen you went to non-league and all the other shit that went with it. If I was in your position I'd be pissing myself.

Oh don't you worry about that, it was one of those situations where you get so invested and start thinking, this isn't right, poor fans. Then you remember who you're talking to and out comes the champagne ;)

A gashead feeling sorry for us? That demonstrates the mess we're in.
Dont it just.

The thing is, I dont feel sorry for us. We as fans have allowed to some extent this situation to arise. The whole SL situation, where we have all accepted his bad football decisions ( and there have been many) because he was willing to use his money to cover the mistakes.

However in doing that and turning his debt into shares, he took complete and utter control of the cluba nd it put him into a position of doing what he want and when he wants too.

Lets not forget that before SL took over, there was a one person one vote system that the 82 board put in place to stop the situation we are now in. Where one man makes all the calls even though he is not even on the board.

I know to some of our fans SL can do no wrong. I however have been of the opinion for some time that as a businessman the guys is a genius but as a football man he does not have a clue. Listening to Ashton yesterday, you could tell that he was just spouting SL's party line.

Go for it George, you've got 17 years worth to get out of your system.
As I've said before, we've given it out, now we need to take it.

Fuck that unless Johnson leaves.
To be fair Ciderup to those that want LJ out not attending for the rest of this season probably won't make a blind bit of difference but if people don't buy next seasons season ticket then i'm sure even Lansdown will wake up and smell the coffee.

I totally agree George. I wonder how many the SC sales will drop by though?
Could be interesting although we are creatures of habit but let's hope the drop will, as you say, make him wake up and smell the coffee!

Bet they're regretting sending him to us now!
We could get revenge for them sending us down at the Gate last time
