A real lack of quality all over the pitch was evident today. Two bits of sloppy play gave us a mountain to climb and there was nobody to bury our numerous chances to get back into it. We've made a fortune this summer but rather than reinvesting the money into buying proven quality, we've signed cast offs that other championship clubs were happy to let go. It's going to be a long season and we need that first win soon!

That was far too easy for 'Boro. I'm genuinely concerned after that TBH.
Very poor from City. It's all well and good having the ball but we do next to fuck all with it and then miss every chance we do eventually make.
I don't think 'Boro will have an easier 3 points all season. There's a good analogy I read somewhere about the school bully taking candy off the younger kids. That's exactly how it felt to me today.
