My thoughts are similar to TTOCS, COD would be a welcome returnee although Eliasson has looked very good in pre-season.
Good time to play Forest who look much stronger this time around.

A largely dull game between one midtable team and one who may chase the play offs but they will have to show a lot more up front.

15/20 minutes in the 1st half aside, that was a poor performance from us.

I know it’s hot but what happened to the pressing of the first 25 minutes? As the game went on we pressed less, played with far less tempo and ran out of ideas. Throughout the game we struggled to get the ball to our players in the final third and looked very disjointed.

Both sides were sloppy with possession, but forest played with more urgency than us, particularly in the second half.

On the plus side I thought the referee was excellent today. Long may that continue.

Finally, worse part of the day for me was seeing people queuing up for autographs and photos with Holloway. They weren’t kids who don’t know better either.

'Complete control' would be a tad unfair MD but you were the better side after the break, no doubt about that but I thought we were the better side during the first half. Why you persisted with the long diagonal ball was a surprise.
We could have been more than 1 up at the break (2 goal line clearances) but I would agree a draw was fair.
I've no doubt, once you settle down, you will have a very good Championship side. I was impressed.

They're better than that SF. At times today, their Portuguese element looked liked rabbits in headlights but they're a good side, albeit a tad toothless.

I was relieved when the the final whistle came. There was only going to be one winner. Forest were superior in possesion (that number 5 with the shiny head looked some player).

Excellent first 20 minutes, but it's hard to keep up such a high tempo pressing game in the blistering heat. Plan B Johnson??

It's there for every game MD. Obviously it's not so popular when the winter hits but it's always open. The atmosphere there is very pleasant TBH, I've never seen any issues since the fan village was started.

Superb idea, revenue for the club and was really good fun. Would like to see something like that at Forest but we have too many pubs near the ground that are too ingrained into people’s habits

We have adopted a Fan Zone for every home game - stuff for the kids, and live music/bar for the adults.

Forest looked a side who will get better I think. They grew into the game.
