Well that was one of the most enjoyable nights down the Gate in a long time.

For long periods of that second half I was worried my 1-1 prediction (with a late Swindon equaliser) was going to come in. Thank fuck it didn't . Swindon had us under a lot of pressure in that 2nd half but credit must go to us for soaking it up and scoring two more fantastic goals. And let's be honest, if the referee wasn't an incompetent twat then we'd have probably had the game won by half time, given the two blatant penalties and red card which weren't given. Can't understand the obsession from Swindon to play it on the floor in every single situation, for example Foderingham playing it short on EVERY goal kick, and putting themselves under needless pressure when there's a 6'5' target man to aim at. I'm glad we have a good balance to our play in that sense.

Wow - what a night.

A 3-0 score line that flattered us, but being clinical proved the difference, and 3 absolutely top class goals.

Swindon are not a bad side at all, Kasim looked superb (not that he should of been on the pitch) Byrne was electric and Turnbull looked very capable. Swindon play some nice football, but when the ball needs to be cleared and wasn't is where we punished Swindon, in the 1st and 3rd goal.

The atmosphere was superb - up there with the Gas one last year, and I'm glad we gave that vile, playacting, thuggish team what they deserved. They have some real quality players, but Branco is a fucking disgrace, and I'm sure he'll get a further suspension than the two game one for the yellow cards (if anyone is unsure what I'm on about, watch Sky post-match and they analyse his thug like actions,) also, your number 6, no eyes for the ball, just determined to knock our players over and have a scrap.

As for Flinty - what a legend, what a bloke.
