I hear he missed an absolute sitter from a couple of yards out today CU? Would have won you the game!

That's Matty for you in a nutshell. Will score a goal if you provide him with enough chances, but he'll miss some absolute sitters.

Bradford were a really decent team and I am happy with a point. Would probably say they were the best side that have come to The Mem, other than Charlton who spanked us.

Considering we were without our best remaining attacking threat, Billy Bodin, a 1-1 draw against a side that rarely loses is a decent result. We had a central midfielder playing RM and ended the game with two academy graduates that have probably played a combined total of 90 minutes between them at FL level, which shows the depth of our squad when we have a couple of injuries. I was happy to see Broom and Lucas get on the pitch and join Lines, Harrison, Clarke and Lockyer - their fellow graduates of years gone by - because it shows we will give young players a chance if they have the ability and attitude.

We did 'dawdle' a bit in the second half because Bradford had some sustained pressure and we needed to have a breather, but we weren't time wasting at all. Didn't see any playacting or feigning injuries at all. Every team would take time with goal kicks if they had been under pressure.

If they did, it wasn't very loud. Definitely didn't hear it, although there was a fairly loud chant of "3-0 & they f'ed it up".

We did indeed but you can only dream of playing the likes of Derby away in the league Miagsy. Nice try though.

It was a shocker but OUR Matty will learn. Very positive thoughts about OUR Matty so far and he was sooooo cheap as well!

Who knows COI, he woud have put us 4-1 up so we should expect to win from there but it's the Championship. He will get to learn that you have to bury those chances. It was, with all respect, an absolute 'gimmee'.
As JJH mentioned, he was offside anyway but it was a shocking miss!

Bradford are a very good side and stand a good chance of promotion via the play off's in my opinion.

Not many teams have come to the Mem and had more play and goal attempts than us but Bradford bossed possession and put us under pressure for long spells in the second half.

I think we probably edged the first 45 on chances created and most of the real goal mouth action was in the Bradford box. However, although we still looked a threat on the break the Bantams controlled the second half and I think we were happier with a point in the end.

Bradford were a really impressive side yesterday, difference between us and a top 6 side was made clear yesterday I think.

Bit disappointed with the way we set up, McMahon and Meredith were playing so high up you' feel they were there for the taking down the wings. But, happy with a point to be honest.
