Shocked that they've picked that game over Us and Chester!
Local Derby, Tensions high between the club, Chester pushing for Play offs, We're starting to pick up, 1st game was great for neutral to watch and if you are a Chester fan, Most likely to be sold out, Always drama involved at these games

Whoever is picking the ganes needs there head shaking. Havent got a clue. Telford v Braintree says it all and who is really interested in Dooomed Nuneaton v Midtable Kiddy?

I was literally within 1 click of buying train tickets for this game a while ago but something told me to hang fire as I've been burnt on more than one occasion like this before. A good job I didn't buy them.

Local derbys tend to be neglected for tele it seems to me. Plenty of times us and Lincoln would've been a great game to show, and Scunthorpe in the cup last season wasn't picked over much worse ties. Seem to remember our police kicking up a fuss about it though, saying they wouldn't move the time of the game for the sake of it being televised, so probably just us.

All setting up for a certain left back to put in more of a performance than he's given for years, no doubt be involved in the winner too.

The chants during the minutes silence about scotty probably played some part of the decision, with BT sport not wanting something like that to happen again. Knowing the history there will probably be some kind of trouble at the game. Also us (long shot now) and grimsby both have play off places on the line which could make the game have some importance.

Glad our game hasn't been picked. Its a nightmare as it is with the bubble let alone with it being on a Monday night or something,

You think you'll sell out? Genuine question as I wouldn't have expected you to. For what its worth I think we'll probably shift our tickets.

They're so considerate of away fans aren't they?
They really ought to give 3 months notice if they're planning to show a match between two clubs who are quite far from each other. I'm just glad that they chose the Dartford match for us as the change of time doesn't alter the cost of the train ticket for me and other Barnet fans (and hopefully this time there won't be a fire at London Bridge station!)

I'd expect us to sell out or be close, we're not going to get relegated, or anywhere near play offs so its our only real important game left, not including the FA Trophy which imo is still a distraction for us

Guessing that's because an FA Cup game could be moved to either Friday or Monday? The beeb were involved in these talks too according to the Conference twitter.

I don't have a lot of time for Garry Hill but it looks like his Grimsby statement was correct.

present season after 33 games - Grimsby 56 points
2013/14 - 57 points
2012/13 - 64 points

In 2011/12 they had 55, only one point less than this year, and that was when there were some very strong sides in the league, the likes of Fleetwood, Wrexham, Luton and York.

Its a strange one this to be honest because one week we can look like world beaters then the next like a team of strangers so for me it is difficult to judge it really.
I would say for pretty certain though that if it was split into home and away points then it would show as the worst Grimsby home side since relegation to the Conference, but the best Grimsby away side (points wise), so I'm still none the wiser!!

Statistics can show what you want as you well know, and points from one season mean nothing in others. This season we have been in the top 5 for pretty much half the season. Last season we were in it for half the season too, but was only there till about halfway through then dropped out for the third quarter before getting back in for the final quarter of the season. 2012/13 was probably our best season, well half a season anyway (One man team Nathan Pond) being at the top of the league for quite a while (only the wrong time to be as Barnet may find out soon and Cambridge did last year) before dropping away and remaining in 5th all the way till the final day were we got back to 4th. As for 2011/12 the highest we ever got was 6th and spent most of the season between 9th and 15th! In fact our first season was better position wise (spending most of it between 7th and 9th) under Neil Woods than it was for the first season under S&H.

Strength of other teams can have a big say as you point out, I would agree that 11/12 was probably the strongest this division has been since we were here, and this season is probably the weakest as was last season before this.

I would say apart from the time of Pond, first half of 12/13 our side now is very similar to the last 2 and half seasons, as GTFC1979 said its our home form that has let us down, apart one season (11/12 7 home losses 6 of them to the top 7) we have already lost more home games than any other, and we are well on course for our best away season. A bit of consistency and a few more goals put away and we might have cracked it!

They cant even get their bloody facts right!

Southport were televisied against FGR

Totally bunch of wasters the lot of them?

FOOTBALL CONFERENCE @conferencefooty · 15m15 minutes ago
At the moment there are just two clubs yet to be screened by @btsport. They are @LincolnCity_FC and @southport_fc

Then this!

"Perhaps you underestimate that a number of other clubs fans may be interested in the outcome between the two clubs, including your own!"

No disrespect to the clubs involved:mad: but I fail to see how a team inside the top twelve at least who would care what happened between an awful welling side and a mid table Alty?
