Might as well stick it all in one thread.

We’ve got the glamour tie - away to Colchester. Wellens has already said he’ll field a similar side to the one that played in the Winky Wanky Cup game against Chelsea last week.

Can’t really argue with that but we’ve been so shit in all cups over the last few seasons it’d be nice to go a round or 2.

We got last seasons league cup semi finalists burton at home. We could do with a good cup run but we never seem to do well in the league cup infact I wouldn't be surprised if we have the worst record out of all the 92 league clubs.

away to Barnsley, hopefully a chance for us to make changes to the starting lineup, as well as a match towards Canice Carroll's suspension, job's a good-un.

Home to Preston who are priced at evens and will be receiving all the money I have in my account on us to lose.

Nah Salford have the worst record, never won a game in it.

Home to Derby. We conceded 4 to Cheltenham who were without their main goalscorer so I am optimistically predicting a 6-0 loss.

Would love the opportunity to play one of the premier League big boys and this competition is probably the best chance of progression with teams playing weakened teams. That being said Boro away is one of the toughest draws we could have got

Away at Charlton. We're going to struggle to fill the bench, so expect changes as we can't afford any more injuries. This means we're probably going to get a proper hiding, but you never know I suppose..

Away to Plymouth in what will be an interesting test for our team, Embleton will need to learn quickly because in his 2 away games he's had in charge, we've lost them both 3-0.

We'll likely make one or two changes at least, Joe Widdowson and Louis Dennis will both certainly start I'd have thought.

Will almost certainly be a sub 100 away following as we play at Plymouth on a Tuesday night in around 7 weeks time, I would stick around for the fireworks the next day, but you know.............

I'd be very suprised if we won the game in regular time, we're lacking cutting edge up top.

We’ve Donny at home. Probably our best chance at progressing beyond the 1st round since promotion. Annoyed I can’t attend this one.

Used to be but in latter years since the mid 00's we've had a few alright results, 4th round in 07 and 3rd round in 09 under Micky, beat a few Championship outfits, QPR twice, Preston, Norwich, took Scunny to ET and lost to Forest and WBA on penalties and beat Burnley of course 3 or 4 seasons back the year they won the league.

As for tomorrow, tricky one, we look set to ring the changes whereas Clough says they won't so will be a challenge. I'd like to see 2 up front be a game worth experimenting in and maybe have Cullen and Bennett up top with Monty and Amoo out wide (rest Wozza) Conlon and Burgess in the middle and throw Kennedy in for Leggey?

Hoping he'll give Wright and Pollock starts. Pollock could well be a necessity if Ohman is out, but I was surprised Wright didn't get onto the pitch on Saturday towards the end. Could have been because he was forced into the Ogbu change early or he didn't want to pile pressure onto Wright with us chasing it. Also, have we had any info on Ahkeem yet? Haven't seen anything.

Agree with all that. No news on Ahkeem. Think he’ll keep mostly the same team, unless we sign someone today (unlikely).

Leyton Orient at home, this whole competition is a bit of a "mehhh" for me. Financially it could benefit us but I would hate to go on a mad run and potentially jeopardize our promotion challenge.

Was better when seeded as you'd usually get a decent draw if your in L2 i.e. a Championship outfit rather than Burton and bloody Lincoln City that we've had the two years since the scrapping of it!

Away at Blackpool for us. A cup run would be nice so hopefully they make a load of changes. Obviously the league comes first though so I'd be happy to see us rest a couple of players from Saturday, possibly Archibald and Ironside who looked a bit tired on Saturday and Harris who's in his 30s.

Wouldn't be surprised if we made eleven changes so maybe don't completely empty your bank account.

I don't really expect anything but defeat away at Colchester. Wellens has always said he's no interest in the boycott cup and I suspect he'll treat this with a similar wide berth and give some of the squad players some minutes.

Exeter in the league on Saturday has to take precedence.

Apparently Newport fans shouldn't bother turning up at Priestfield tomorrow night - not that I'd blame them if they didn't fancy it anyway!

Sad to see. Unlike the Checkatrade this competition should be decent, but if it's got to the point where even managers can't be arsed to turn up you wonder what the point is. Cups should be exciting, not an annoying distraction. Where did it all go wrong?

Can see this competition getting scrapped altogether at this rate. Seems not many would care if it was.

A lot of teams havent really rated this for years... was a story about Port Vale v Manchester United in 1994....

Vale fans protested and the club following suite in complaining due to United sending their reserves... paying money to watch these reserves who were unknown kids like Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville, David Beckham etc!

That said in recent years even L1 and L2 sides make changes for this, sometimes even against Championship sides.

FA Cup is the only one I would say is really taken seriously by most EFL clubs.

Bit of a shame though, isn't it? Most teams aren't going up or down, so why not have a crack at the cups?

Teams used to play way more games without constantly needing rests, so why all this wrapping up in cotton wool shite now?

Bet Bradford fans don't think this cup is a waste of time.
