Surely someone even if your limited intellect must realise teams don’t tend to win leagues in August

Are you stupid or something?

It was a joke question. :ffs:

Mansfield haven’t lost a game this season.

They are hard to beat and don’t have a problem scoring goals.

No, I’m sticking with my 5-2 to Mansfield prediction.

Mellis and O’Donohue - both with previous for wife beating, I believe.

Are you kidding me Dan? Wife beaters? Both of them? If them, that perhaps explains it.

I know Mellis obviously, always quite rated him but not the other guy.

The weirdest part is this happened midweek? Mansfield town centre midweek does not scream fun to me.

Mansfield fans are a strange bunch though, it’s like it’s the end of the world for some already.

All you have to do is look at our close friends across the m1 or down the A60 to realise just “HOW” much worse it could be.

You really could of just ended that sentence at the word 'bunch' Adam.

This is slightly more important than on the field matters or anything football related.

I'll go check to see if any Notts County professionals have beaten up any teenagers this week.

Be right back...

Notts County still a professional club? Thought you'd have gone semi-pro being in that league.

They didn’t look professional when in the league in fairness

they’ve Wrexham at home tomorrow, both can cuddle up and pretend it’s a league game.

The bottom of the Connie looks like division fours of years gone by at the moment with Notts, Chesterfield, Hartlepool and Stockport all down there.

It’s not good. Chesterfield haven’t won yet - which is a shame.

Notts won at Harrogate in mid-week - we once sent a youth team there for a pre-season friendly.

So in the grand scheme of things, yeah - could be a lot worse!

A level results out. Lots of celebrating or drowning of sorrows. Maybe they they thought there may be some drunken . . .

I’ll not finish that thought.

Who were Mansfield's first non league opponents? Bet you a can't beat Canvey Island for welcome to the conference

If that's true they'll do well to avoid prison.
Very bad news for you Stags , it's going to need the squad, chairman and fans to remain fully behind the manager or things can go tits up really quickly.
Nasty looking injury to the lads face, no excuse for two of them ganging up, goes way beyond just a scrap between two people.

Ebbsfleet, we drew 2-2 (ironic given the current theme of this season) before a home win against histon - we lost our first game at barrow.

It’s really poor and rightfully so folk are outraged, it’s compleyely unacceptable - unfortunately it’s something that happens in football more times than you’d care to mention.

Ultimately the appropriate action needs to be made but need to ensure all facts are collated to ensure the correct outcome is made.

Should it be the case they’re guilty (and it’s hard not to jump to that conclusion given the pictures etc) id be fully expecting the 2 to be sacked by the club.

Tbh I guess most clubs who get relegated from L2 to Non league football dont look too professional in that final season. Let's forget the 150 years before that

No doubt in 2007/08 Mansfailed were the exception :ohy: lol

The lad has a bleed to the brain - which will clear up on its own - and an obvious busted nose.

May be GBH instead of common assault.

As for the Conference, well, I'm just glad we have a solvent club. Seen us play in five divisions now and I can't honestly say being in the top division made me happier than being down here in the scrapheap. Bad seasons test your patience, whatever division you're in, doing well would be a pleasant change for us, three top half finishes in fifteen seasons, the rest relegation scraps.
Right, back to the non league forum, leave you Galacticos to it.

I’ve personally seen one player denying it hence why people have avoided naming.

Is that what Carlisle did all those years ago when they dropped into Non League?
Nah we were in good financial shape when we went down. The conference then was full of tinpotters too so although Barnet are unstoppable in the seasons they deign to win it we gave them a battle, and set loads of attendance records that the likes of Luton and Tranmere have probably since broke. We had Leigh RMI who's total attendance was still lower than our lowest single attendance. Oh and Exeter were down there which is easy to forget.

Horrific injuries. Mr Radford must be appalled and tearing his hair out at this shocking news.

Named but nobody has said they are guilty

Well it’s hardly likely to come back and get you in trouble but best to not say anything just in case

I don’t think anyone could have gone down in the completely farcical manner you managed, even Haslam wasn’t as disastrously bad as hardy. It was a season long comedy.

Still, now you’re experiencing the #stain on your clubs history it might be good for your soul - you’ll need it when losing 1-0 Bromley or somewhere

Maybe this 'incident' is worth it's own thread, I want this to be full of our red card and two early goals conceded that's going to happen later on.

In Carlisle now, can’t say I’m expecting much, had some right results here, the last 2 times I’ve been we’ve conceded 3 and 5. Can’t wait
