Carlo Ancelotti is taking the piss with a 442 with a flat midfield. Sergio Ramos looks lost and is frankly useless as a CM. I don't watch La Liga (because it's shit) but are Real that short for personel in that area? Same goes for Kroos. He's one of the best B2B midfielders in the world and yet he's playing closer to the defence with no DM behind him. Sacrilège! Goal is still completely his fault.
Juve have done alright but not gone for broke. Shame. I have no idea who Sturaro is.

Good game. Sergio Ramos was awful in his CM role. I'm sure Lucas Silva would have done a better job. Pepe was also quite poor with his passing. Real didn't look balanced all game but with those players they always look a threat. Not quite sure what the situation is with Benzema but Real should play with a proper CF instead of two makeshift ones.
Juventus attacked in sequences as usual but it worked. 2-1 is a decent score to take to the Bernabeu. Still very open. Hopefully Pogba will be fit for that one.

Enjoyed that game, Real were sub-par but that's partly because Juventus stifled them effectively. Think it's still wide open for the second leg, Juve will be happy to sit back and counter attack.

I don't think its quite cut and dry and I expect Juve to score at the Bernabeu, but I don't think either team will be disappointed too much with tonights result.

Cracking game, it's a good scoreline for Juventus to take to Madrid with them but I get the feeling they'll be made to pay for the missed Llorente chances later on in the game. I still fancy Real Madrid to prevail but Ancelotti needs to get it spot on next week, his team selection tonight didn't work out at all.

Don't you find the CL is getting too samey now with practically the same sides in the QF/SF's each year? That's what annoys me about it, though tbf the semi's the last few years and yesterday's one, were of very high quality. Mind you Chelsea isn't there which may have something to do with it!

You could say that of the entire football world. The same sides win the same trophies (or are at least close) every single year. Even in the EL you have Seville who have been there before.
