So the draw for the early qualifying stages has taken place today

Tough draw for the home nations and although Stjarnan knocked Motherwell out last year I expect Celtic to have enough

Yeah I think Celtic will get past them.

Dundalk haven't got a hope in hell unfortunately. Like you said, Celtic SHOULD have enough.

I think that's actually a good draw for Crusaders. That's not to say I expect them to win or anything. But they've got two ties where it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Moderately tricky tie for Celtic but they'll have enough.

Dundalk are out.

Good chance for TNS in their first game but they'll have no chance in the next one.

It'd be nice to see Lincoln Red Imps win against the Andorran side before one of them gets completely destroyed against the Danes.

Decent draw for Celtic they should negotiate through that one, Malmo, Steaua, Partizan and Ludogerets should also progress.

I know that when a club is part-time the people involved have other things going on in their lives, but does anyone else think it's fucking weird that the Crusaders manager isn't taking charge of a Champions League qualifier because he's away on his summer holiday?

Haha. WTF? Sorry just had to put that in the tinpot thread.

From the bits and pieces I'm seeing online it looks like Crusaders have been well on top for the first half hour. No breakthrough yet though.

Also 0-0 after an hour in Gibraltar.

Any time the Red Imps avoid defeat it's a good thing, so I'm assuming that's a good result.

Also finished 0-0 in Belfast. Crusaders seem to have been quite unlucky there.

0-0 isn't the worst of results for a home team. Score draw away and they're through. Tie still very much alive.

1-1 in Tallinn at H/T.
Stayed that way. Crusaders go through on away goals. A brilliant effort against full-time opposition midway through their season :D

Fingers crossed they can give the Albanians a game too.

TNS 2-0 in their second leg. So that'll be them through too. Looking like a good night for the Brits.

Lincoln Red Imps win their first ever game in Europe after a 2-1 win in Andorra against Santa Coloma. Great for them.

Some great results for the British sides tonight, be interested to see how they do in the 2nd qualifying round.

Crusaders conceded two late goals in a 4-1 away defeat last night. Can't see that one being recoverable back in Belfast. Likewise, a 0-1 loss at home for TNS probably means they're out.

However, Lincoln only losing 1-0 away at Midtjylland is a really creditable result. Very impressive. And Dundalk only losing out 2-1 away at BATE keeps their dreams alive too.

Celtic up against Stjarnan tonight. That won't be completely easy - Stjarnan are midway through the season and knocked Motherwell out of the Europa League qualifiers last year. I'd still expect Celtic to win the tie by at least a couple though.

Celtic win 2-0. It would have been 3 - and thus tie over - had Leigh Griffiths not missed a penalty. All the more annoying for Celtic given he wrestled the ball off a team mate so he could take it

Crusaders won 3-2 on the night but lose 6-4 on aggregate. Looked like they had a chance when the opposition were down to 10 and Crusaders went 1-0 up, but it was always a long shot once the Albanians had scored. Never mind - still over £500,000 in the bank for this little run.

Great effort in Hungary from TNS against Videoton. A 1-0 win in the 90 has taken them into ET. Fingers crossed they can pull through!!

Really good effort.

Celtic more or less through as they're 2-1 on the night.

Dundalk at 0-0 so that tie is still alive.

Dundalk Finish 0-0 but go out 2-1 on Agg. Just one goal short. Expected them to be beaten easier than that another good effort

Celtic are through and will face Qarabag of Azebajan. Good draw that.

TNS have conceded. They must score again now.
