Indeed they haven't made it easy for themselves with that score and a trip out there to come.

there will be a big fight for the 4th champions league spot this season between Germany, England and Italy. England or Germany could lose their 4th spot to Italy

at the moment they stand as below at the start of the 16/17 season

2. Germany 50.356
3. Italy 48.915
4. England 48.846

I see Celtic drew 0-0 against Qarabag of Azerbaijan away and progress thanks to Boyata header after 83 minutes of the first leg.

Yeah, they now go on to the tie that effectively makes or breaks their season. I'm no fan of Celtic, but it would be hilarious if they were to progress to the group stages whilst Manoo didn't! :D

Shame, it's Bruges.

Celtic have got Malmo. Lazio vs Bayer Leverkusen looks the tie of the round.

Tough draw for Celtic. Think that tie will be tight,

Perfect draw for United. Just need to be professional and we will be fine.

Good draw for Man U baring in mind who they could've got.

Valencia v Monaco seem to be the pick of the ties.

Comfortable draw for us. If we don't smash Club Brugge then we don't deserve to be in the competition. I'm not sure my nerves could have coped with a Lazio or Monaco tie.

How many rounds until Barcelona win it?

Seriously though, who was the last team to win it in successive seasons? I cant remember it happening in my lifetime. As it goes I think Bayern will be stronger this year and I fancy Chelsea to push, but I just cant see past Barca again.

AC Milan were the last team to win the Champions League/European cup in successive seasons.1989 and 1990.

That's a bit harsh towards Brugge. I'm confident you'll win but the Belgian sides are competitive and it won't be as easy as you think. I reckon the games will both be high scoring with United edging both the home and away ties.

Perhaps slightly harsh. At the end of the day, we've spent loads and we've a much superior squad of players. If we struggle it'd be slightly embarrassing. We need to progress comfortably to announce we're back in Europe.
