i dint gi' a fuck, you're all boring. it would just be nice if it didn't dominate every thread man city are involved in, or otherwise.

Don't read it then.

For City to have any sort of chance they always needed Aguero and/or De Bruyne to turn up but they've been absolutely anonymous so far.

They're good enough players to be anonymous and then produce something, afforded the chance.

Don't read it then.

that's like taking a shit on the pavement and telling pedestrians they can always just not walk in it if they don't like it. the forum ain't your fucking toilet. selfish.

Dover v Forest Green on the other side was a better game. Same kits as well, could be forgiven for thinking that was the CL semi. Though the posh seats essentially being a load of scaffolding is a bit of a giveaway

This is why I think Pellegrini is cack, though he's got half time to sort his shit out. Man City play with no real sort of identifiable gameplan, no style of play. While it could be seen as a positive to not be pigeonholed to a way of playing it's only positive when you're winning. They haven't been able to play a patient build up type of game because they can't keep the ball long enough, they aren't playing a counter attacking game because their threat going forward when the ball is turned over is way too pedestrian and they frankly don't defend particularly well. They don't press well because they don't do it collectively so it just knackers out the odd player that runs down the opposition. They can't play a decent wide game because not only is Navas piss poor at getting the ball in anyway, even if he were a decent threat there's no numbers in the box anyway, so Aguero aside there's noone to hit.
This is why City have done poorly in the league when playing the top sides because their individual quality isn't enough on it's own.
Put Nacho in for Toure or Navas. Either Toure to come out because he isn't offering enough help in the attack because he's not getting into offensive positions or take Navas out because as is his game isn't causing any problems. If the Ivorian steps aside though then Navas might have more luck with another striker to provide for.

are city going to try and score at all? still playing with 10 men behind the ball, at some point they have to take some risks.

Sterling in for Toure then. Wonder if he'll go wide and try to get balls in for Aguero or if he'll go central.

Ronaldo doesn't even get booked for slam dunking the ball into the net!

Has Bale got a bit of hay stuck in his hair as well tonight?

The young lad and Sterling on. Both raw but they may show more than the players they replaced particularly Ihanancheo or whatever the hell is name is.

How poor are City. Aside from the two in holding midfield charging around the place, everyone else just looks pedestrian. No zip to their play at all.

So Liverpool the sole remaining British team in Europe (for a day at least!). Who'd have thunk...
