No qualms over the fans input ,its the latter part of your post pertaining to the manager wrestling a modicum of passion from a team that 'of late' look woefully short of that particular trait.

I'm just hoping my first impressions on our European campaign are wrong and the manager isn't sacrificing Liverpool's involvement in this competition for a concerted tilt at the title,lest we forget the effect of devaluing and undermining this trophy had on our former incumbents longevity as Liverpool manager. I can only speak for Kopites when I state that some of us even take holidays from work based around our involvement in Europe so to show any tangible form of disinterest is frankly unforgivable.

However, it is genuinely disgraceful what they do especially at the end of matches (Marquinhos vs Marseille is hands down the worst I've seen in regards to diving in my life, Silva tried something similar yesterday). And when someone like Silva goes from going 80 games without picking up a yellow for Milan to, well, this, it's obvious he's been instructed.

It's one thing having dirty players, we've all got them. It's another to get players previously rightly perceived as honest to act like the worst you'll see anywhere else. Which is what Tuchel has got this PSG team doing, and it absolutely is worth pointing out.

No one is saying Liverpool players never dive. No one on here is blaming the defeat on diving, either. And no one has mentioned Ramos. Are you familiar with the term whataboutism?

There's a reason Neymar consistently gets called out on it (and has since he was 17) and it has nothing at all to do with Salah or Lovren (who's behavior in the clip is embarrasing, fwiw). Stop being an apologist, PSG is a ridiculously dirty side. The only time you'll see worse than what they produce on a regular basis is el Clasico, which for me is pretty much unwatchable.

I can of course only speak for myself ,but when I take my place in the Kop on Tuesday night I expect the magic to emanate from the fans who fill the ground . I'm sure Napoli will not be underestimated when they tip up at our place and complacency will not be an issue ,so its with total unswerving conviction that I can only see Liverpool as firm favorites for the win and its 40,000 fans believing this to be true that imparts the magic fella.
