That's yes and no, would love to see a big crowd at Grimsby but always nice to sit down in frot of the TV with a few stubbies and watch live soccer. I have no clue how this will go and would say facing Nathan Jones may not be a massive incentive as there is little hate for him due in part to Robbie having a great start, the league it seems is a massive priority and sticking it too the big boys is 'fun' maybe Grimsby can 'out' Southampton, they would be a seriously funnier and more satisfying to end the Premiership teams run? Difficult to say in this one.
The fuck are Stubbies?

Relax the aggression please!

You can always google it, they are bottles of beer.
That's not aggression.

Not many English folk call beers stubbies

They are the short and fat bottles you can get like Duvel and knock off belgian beers from supermarkets.

Maybe another north/south thing?
North south? You must mean East and West? I'm ex pat Australian.

Duvel is about 8.5% They sell it in Waitrose here.

Standard BBQ beers for the ice bucket when cheap fuckers don't bring enough of their own.

Duvel is lethal, remember finding a sports bar in Brussels years ago that sold them for €2 a pop. Spoons sell them over here as well at a decent price, less than £4 anyway.

That statement is very much suggestive that I march down to the shops and get some bottles in..... Or I am just reading it that way?

Shows how worthless our season has been but if we can beat these fucking shit stains on the 1st and banish them back to the shit bag leagues, then it'll make this season worthwhile.

Hopefully Sadler turns out to be a wrong'un like their previous owner, and most Blackpudlians and they go to the wall.

I wouldn't wish any club to 'go to the wall' due in part that bad and corrupt owners are like a cancer on the sport. When we play Watford on the 1st I would sincerely love to see a competitive and decent game, a win would be amazing but we need to send this 'problem' in our game away but we can't do that until the actual governing body is decent.

Not sure fans would agree with you here Leroy even if it’s frustrating decisions aren’t going your way .

Who are the longest serving players in this league?

Talk of Alan Browne making his debut for us 9 years today prompted me to look up his appearances.

366 appearances in all comps according to soccerbase, and 329 for Daniel Johnson.

Not bad for a £60k transfer outlay for the pair.

Pelly Ruddock-Mpanzu joined Luton Town on loan 28 Nov 2013 from West Ham and then permanently on 28 Jan 2014. I think he cost around £200,000 at the time.

Next season will be his testimonial year. At the time of his signature, I thought he would be someone who would play in the Championship.

He has made 358 appearances and scored 21 bangers across four divisions, three promotions and several other play off campaigns. At least one goal every season.

Turned down other opportunities at Leeds and Middlesbrough to be loyal to the Hatters, signing several contract extensions.

He deserves to go down in Luton legend that doesn't seem to be as appreciated as he should be.

Its not typical that you see articles like this, but it sums up some of the ridiculousness of our luck this season, especially in regards to refereeing decisions:

I would argue, get to 8 and stop reading - the others were not exactly blatantly bad decisions more so than anyone else.

Normally Im with the “it all evens out over the season” stuff and don’t pay the odd bad decision much mind, but it really hasn’t this season, feels like most marginal “big decisions” have gone against us. Especially in recent weeks we’ve been punished for everything and got not much in our favour

We’ve done well to only be fined twice for having a go at refs I think, the players must be boiling and have it in the back of their minds whenever a big decision comes up especially those from recent weeks.

All the more remarkable that we are where we are this season, couple of those go our way or we get away with a few things that you sometimes do who knows where we could be.

peter anderson,tony grealish,brian horton,ricky hill,andy king,kevin nicholls,mark pembridge,david preece,bruce rioch,matthew taylor,danny wilson....
prm might get in...but just a squad player in that selection... in my opinion...
