Our attendance in the cup against Huddersfield tomorrow could be worse than a Blackpool home crowd.

I can go, but I'm not, not even if it was a £1.
7,000. More than I thought.

Second half was pretty entertaining on my Serbian stream.

Bambo Diaby motm, absolute banger of a finish. He needs a run until the end of the season now, much, much better footballer than Jordan Storey. Looks like he's found his confidence, big fan of him.

DJ, Woodburn, and Browne were good too, but the two youth lads look some way off.

An annoying draw as we will now have to play back to back games against Wigan away later this month.

Started super sluggish, gave away a really poor goal that kicked us into life somewhat and from that point we had all the play without really making the most of it. Got into so many good areas without making the final pass count. James Bree delivery in particular radar was way way off today but he’s usually a good crosser. Just one of those sorts of days.

Spurs at home. A replay would be nice.

Good draw for you, definitely be moved around for tv though you’d expect.

Grimsby at home for whoever wins our replay with Wigan. On the face of it not great draw but a big opportunity to get the 5th round and a home tie never to be sniffed at.

Well least we won't have to be hammered by Man U..

Probably just lost at Middlesbrough the same day.

Amusing day at Deepdale, Ridsdale threatening a fan with legal action and revoking his matchday tickets. Thought it was bollocks but supposedly the fan has sent screenshots to the local paper.

as much as i'd love us to progress and get the dosh, until the squad is fit and back together again the league and its undoubtable congestion should take precedence..
Yes, but the romance of the cup? My hub remembers Grimsby away!!!! So not sure we want a reply and have to settle this on the day (there are replays in the fourth round?).

If we win on Saturday then I think we should just blitz the Cup game so if we lose then hey ho, I would love to see this plucky team in the Premiership.

I think it's unlikely we sell out against Spurs, they're just not a pull. Don't think they've sold their allocation either.

Regardless of how depressing PNE are, there's no talk of it not selling out if we drew Utd, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, or Arsenal.

Spurs are very much in the Everton, West Ham, Villa, and Newcastle bracket.

Never seen us pull off a cup upset and Saturday will be no different. Spurs will probably destroy us.

Delap cup tied, Parrott can't play, and Riis is out for the season so I assume the front two will be Cannon & Evans. Unless he plays with 1 up front and Woodburn behind. I'm guessing Whiteman is still injured/ not playing because he's being sold.

Woodman
Storey, Lindsay, Hughes
Browne, Ledson, McCann, Brady
Woodburn
Cannon, Evans.
0-3.

Southampton away for the winner of our replay. Very interesting tie for us if we make It for obvious reasons! Decent day out for Grimsby fans if they do as well I’d have thought albeit not one of the “big” boys

We really do need to go strong in this game.

If we get through, a good chance of beating Southampton too. And would demonstrate our ability (maybe) ahead of next season to see where we’re at?

Got to get through the replay though. I do worry about that as Grimsby caused us some real issues and will likely be a similar sort of game where we have to have the ball and break them down without having a defensive lapse in between. Those sorts of games are not our forte, I’d be keen to go strong for that game certainly

Annoying that Sheff Utd equalised at Wrexham as I reckon our replay would have been picked up by ITV otherwise. Should be a full BP in the home ends. Do you reckon the potential to face Nathan Jones will be a factor and have your boys up for it, or are we reading a bit too much into that?

Possibly but I’m not sure it will be a huge factor in our replay game imo. We need to focus on winning that game. I think any thoughts of Nathan etc are venturing into “getting ahead ourselves” territory.the first game was tough and with a bumper crowd behind you it’s going to be just as tough again

After a tough encounter with a decent Cardiff the ladder makes great viewing this morning up to fourth.

That's yes and no, would love to see a big crowd at Grimsby but always nice to sit down in frot of the TV with a few stubbies and watch live soccer. I have no clue how this will go and would say facing Nathan Jones may not be a massive incentive as there is little hate for him due in part to Robbie having a great start, the league it seems is a massive priority and sticking it too the big boys is 'fun' maybe Grimsby can 'out' Southampton, they would be a seriously funnier and more satisfying to end the Premiership teams run? Difficult to say in this one.

Yes, sad to say. I thought a wounded Spurs were for the taking, Just no pressure at all on their defence.
