Jose. The Club is poorly supported within the city of Leeds very true. The legacy of doing well in the late 60's early 70's when TV football started has given Leeds its huge fanbase around the UK and the World and that's what still comes through the turnstiles - ie non-resident fans.

When away fans at Elland Rd talk about the horrendous prices they have to pay at Leeds they forget that its the same for the home fans as well which seems to go unnoticed...

People make it sound like teams are getting charge £36 and the Leeds fans are getting charged a cheaper price - the price is the same for everyone in that West stand and in the bulk of the East Stand and we have to pay it every home game not just once a season.

This has a direct effect of bums on seat numbers obviously and is why Leeds get stick for home attendance being so "low" ...so again not a level playing field.

If you look at revenues for both home and away attendances then perhaps that's more fitting and telling.

Off me soap box now.

So it's largely thanks to the largesse of other clubs that Leeds fans get to see their team play then?

2900 tickets for Charlton away on the last day go on sale to over 7000 ST holders at 9am tomorrow. Wish me luck, gonna be chaos.

Obviously no guarantees that there'll be anything to play for but you have to hope for the best!

All they did was have a few running on the pitch when they scored and one pushed the goalie. And ripped an advertising board off which they threw on there own fans the thick twats. If there was as many riot police at hillsborough in the ground that night as there were at barnsley yday (of which there was absolutely no need for). Then none of that would of happened. My point is when theres a chance of no trouble like yesterday they go way over the top and get paid for doing fuck all. Yet when there was a chance of trouble ie that night at hillsborough there no where to be seen.

Odd. We just give everyone the same 1400 something. it's just what that area physically holds. Not sure what happened to ~100 tickets then. You could see empty seats dotted around from the other side of the ground.

Also the Vic has already sold out for Wednesday on the last day, in home areas anyway.
