Dead right, said the same thing in the Match Day posts.
Difficult place to make a noise though, it seemed like the fans who wanted to sing were at either end, with the ones in the
middle almost silent.

Yeah your right about the stand, very difficult to get an atmosphere going in there, we were to the right hand side and a few of us tried to get the atmosphere going but never seem to take off, only time there was a bit of atmosphere was under the stands on the way out. I know a lot are going to Hull but i thought we would have took alot more than that today.

Understandably low following from us. Sandwiched in between two big away games where we're over 5,500 sales + big home games + just before day = poor turnout.

Nowt up with that though, as a dead rubber and Wolves is a poor away day due to the following:-

* Nowhere to drink. Always stay in Birmingham and train it for that reason

* That stand. Front few rows and you can't even see the touchline. Ground was half empty so no need to be laying £28 for that view to watch a dead rubber where the Wolves fans boo their team all game in a drab affair.

* The hills really do have eyes. This is a local club for local people. If you think the locals are a bit lairy, you're probably lucky as the majority are just plain weird.

Proper in and out type of place.

Brizzle fans love a sub 1k
Ha give over, we had nothing to play for and don't generally travel well up north. Close to 800 given the circumstances is a decent effort by our own standards.

329 Ipswich watching their team ruin my life at Boro today.

Not too bad considering. Bit of a trek, nothing to play for, £32.

Sold around 800 for Bristol away on Saturday.

Not the worst to say it's £30 a ticket!

Would of been nice of em to return the £10 tickets we have them mind..

£30 is it? That's beyond me how this game is classed as a Category A....

But anyway - it's Bristol City mate, Bristol are a rugby team. Sorry to be a pedant, but it's a pet hate of mine.

I'm shocked your away crowds are down compared to last season......

Why? We won away from home every other week last season, we were awful for 2/3rd's of this season.

It's not as if there are plenty of new grounds in this league for us either, hence why I'm actually quite glad that Wigan and Burton are coming up.

Edit - out of interest, what is our average this season compared to last?

I appreciate you've not had the success of last term but you've had a few places with far better access and allocations (see Fulham and Reading) than last season.

Yeah, and at Reading we had 3.5k or whatever it was off the back of a terrible run, and at Fulham we sold the 4k.

Obviously last seasons figure was heavily bolster by the 5,300 and the 4,000 at MK and Coventry respectively, but our biggest following this season came in the cup (5.5k at WBA) rather than the league which is worth taking into account.

I take your point though, but I think our away numbers would be very respectable in this league now if we were doing well with the amount of southern games there are. We'll always travel poorly up north, unless it's a big game.
