Sold all our allocation for forest away.
However, no we have not. According to the club if you purchase coach travel then there some left reserved.
But all in all, we will take our full allocation and so we should. It's a local game and first of the season.

Pompey had 721 at ours today. Cracking effort, were very noisy as well.

Out of interest are Forest sticking to their stupid 2k away allocation? Must cost them at least 500k over a season in lost revenue from away support. Loads of teams would sell out the whole end this season given the opportunity.

They certainly are. Bonkers isn't it. Especially when teams like Wednesday, Newcastle / villa/ Derby and Leeds come to town. And that will never change when you have a 20% reduction in your capacity as announced last week.
I'm confident we could have took over 3500 if we had the tickets given to us.

Would make sense if they were selling out, but other than Derby and maybe Villa they won't be anywhere near. A lot of money for them to lose. Always enjoy Forest as an away day but it's not the same with only half as many fans.

We've sold out our 4544 allocation for sheff weds now, it sold out yesterday morning. Our next away game in the league is Derby which is on TV again and they are charging us £36. Our allocation for derby is 3170.

Apparantly the reason why our tickets for sheff weds were delayed a week before going on sale was because at first they slapped £52 on a ticket. There was discussions between the two clubs and a final price was settled. If true that is disgusting on their part.

Load of bollocks.

And how do I know it's bollocks? Because there is no £52 category for the Kop and never has been, the Kop is the home end which must have reciprocal prices to the away end. In fact even category A* which has now gone was £45. So someone your end is talking shit.

There you go then. Wasn't saying it was true but just something I'd read. I'm really looking forward to the game now so can't wait. Should be over 30k there I'd imagine.

Mate, I don't like our prices but you only need one line of misinformation to be out there and it's hysteria, Rotherham fans were fed the bullshit that it would cost them £52 last season, several papers led with the line it would be £52 all season last year and never corrected themselves, plenty of clubs paid under £30 last season. Villa fans are the unfortunate ones this term, being fresh out of the PL and being our opening game you've been clobbered.

No one should be shocked, their support is what it is, a Rugby town. Fair play to the 300 or so bothering with a trip to the Nou Gate and playing the Gloucesticos :D

Blades have always been bigger, don't kid yourself because you're currently a division higher.
Think you need better ground bait youth.....

You got me. Will always prefer Blades though, their fans are far less arrogant and don't believe they have a divine right to play at the highest level because they get a few more fans through the turnstiles.

Don't disagree, if you read Owlstalk we have some utter jebends. We have no divine right to be in the top division but after 16 years outside it and having had eff all cash in that time we do have a little resentment when clubs are sugar daddied there.

I like Sheffield Wednesday the same way I like Everton, great old fashioned club, traditional ground, good set of fans but some of their fans think they are above what they actually are in terms of the stature of the club. Great club though.

By highest level, I hope you mean the champions league? We are Sheffield Wednesday you know. :-)

Don't think there will be over 30k on Sunday mate, not at the stupid prices for pay on the day. Great support from Villa, we wouldn't have taken that many down there at those prices and on Tv as well, as Leeds away for the last few years shows. I'm guessing about 28k.

first game of the season was always going to sell out regardless of the price. Your prices are ridiculous, especially as your catchment area is mainly working class. I thought you never sell out at Leeds because your scared :bg:
