Who knows then. On the blues ticket details it said they had sold 1200 of their 1470 allocation.

According to our ticketing manager, we sold 938 in advance at £37 (plus however many paid £42 on the day).

The Wednesday
Been confirmed by the Club that Saturday's game against Huddersfield will now definitely be a second tier record for attendance as we're down to the last 50 tickets in the entire stadium. Good to see and no small part played by Huddersfield having sold over 3000 up there in the gods.

We've also got 550+ big f*** off flags in the Gallowgate which will hopefully just add to it all. Hopefully Sissoko will be waving one so at least no one can say that he hasn't contributed to the team.
No record.....

Leeds fans are on a serous downer..."same old" is the expression used. Yes sold out at QPR; Yes sold out at Fleetwood but we are struggling to sell out for Wednesday, 12.30 Saturday. First batch of 3,100 went very quick but the additional 1,400 is seriously sludged up.

1st time you've had the lower since the Kirkland incident? I think there could be more stewards and police on the lower tier then leeds fans.

nah, they were in the bottom tier last season although there weren't many of them in the lower tier as I don't think it sold out. Your lot in the cup the other season were the best we've had at villa for a while.

One of the rare occasions our fans were any good.

Reading had about 400-500 at Wolves on Saturday, will post when I can get an official figure.

Id say just under 2500 millers at villa but no official figure for this one either yet.

I think Huddersfield are on the way to bringing 2700 to us on Tuesday night, especially after that good win at the weekend.

what's up? Weren't having a dig was just making a comment.
About 10 years since Leeds last didn't sell out at Hillsborough. Have always sold however many we have given them since. On the other hand our turnouts at theirs in recent years have been crap. Always sold out there prior to "the Kirkland incident".

Tickets on sale for the top tier, passed safety regulations. Should be a sellout crowd against Newcastle, though I'm not sure if it'll be the full 27k, probably more like 24k, as we weren't allowed to sell the full capacity in the south stand for the first few games last season. Hopefully full 27k vs Villa the next week.

Yeah less than 350 left should sell out after Saturday
You lucky bastards having Newcastle and Villa as your first away games. Cracking start to your season as well!

really? Always thought that wasn't the case. Last season they did not fill what you normally get allocated in the lower tier or was that down to the police cutting their allocation.

Yeah it's a long drive for midweek but villa park is great under the floodlights and it will be a good atmosphere.

Would rather of had Villa on a Saturday though!
We'll have Villa in midweek as well (probably, because of cup tie clashes). Shite, but will still go as we haven't played at Villa Park for years.

We had our allocations cut after the Kirkland incident though I do think we were a couple of hundred short last season, but Josie would know that better than me.

I thought you sold the lot, could be wrong though, was very limited numbers in bottom tier though, even more than most matches at Hillsborough. Don't think anywhere else in England has such ridiculous segregation restrictions
