Close to selling out our initial 2800 at Fulham. If we sell it out will we get allocated more or is that it?

Top of the league or not, that would be a class following by Huddersfield.

Fulham away certainly attracts good numbers, we hadn't been there in a while but I think we took over 1,900 last season while we were still on a bit of a shitty run.

Bit strange for a set of away fans to be known for being quiet. Where do they go pre match? Cafe Nero?

I think the last few years have put the fans into such a poor mindset. Plus, we do not play with any attacking intent at all so it is all so boring. It is all doom and gloom at the moment, home support is exactly the same.

Dont get me wrong, not sticking up for our away support, I think it is pretty shit but, a lot of fans think it is good - no idea why. I love going to away days, making a shit load of noise and if we win, then even better.

Allocated 2700 initially for Fulham with an allocation of up to 4K. Party time.

3287 sold out for Brighton. Wanted to go but it's just too much money for me. Leeds away is my next away. Been there twice before but I just fancy it over some of our other aways. I know a few Leeds fans who will be going up too so will be a good day on the piss.

Villa fan groups have pleaded with the police to keep them locked in at full time on Sunday.

I'd call that good sense? Considering the trouble we usually have at games with one another due to idiotic fans on both sides, for once I can agree that it is a good decision by WMP.

No doubt they'll be giving it the big un behind their police cordon too.

Blues would never beg the police to be kept in at Villa Park.

Yeah, yeah, blah blah, Blues are hard, football is about who's fans are harder....

I'd rather go to a match and not have a flare thrown in my face and be pelted by coins (as happened in the one, and only, derby I attended between us) thanks.

If that's what you enjoy, you don't deserve to be a football fan. :dk:

I have been to watch Blues up and down the country, in Europe and Malaysia. I'm no less a 'football fan' than anybody else.

I never claimed that, what I meant was if you enjoy the violent and quite frankly horrendous side of football, then that's your bag, I just don't feel you should be associated with the majority of decent football fans who go to games to enjoy themselves and avoid that part of things. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick, but it seemed to me that is what you were implying.

Received an allocation of 2764 from Leeds for our trip in November. Considering we had been told we were going to receive an extended one, that's pretty low for what is our local derby

Charging £37 to boot. :£

All this means is that Blues will wait on the route back to the City Centre and then pick off anyone walking down 10mins after the Blues lot as they will know they're Villa. Trouble these days is nowt compared to the 80's. Remember going to Small Heath with about 12,000 Villa in the early 80's and it being like a war zone in the City Centre after.

what's this bullshit prove? I've been in an escort with 400 villa being marched through brum to your ground. What happened before and after the game in the QF at your place? No way was villa getting run that night. I'm no hooligan mate but me and a few others got caught in an escort with a villa firm of over 300. It's all pathetic really but I'm just pointing out that this blues myth of smashing villa everywhere is bullshit.
I have not made reference to any violence or disorder and of course I don’t condone it, my point was that Blues are a lot more brazen when approaching Villa Park whereas Villa have almost zero presence in the city centre on derby day. Maybe coincides with that Villa always seem to take more coaches to St Andrews than most other clubs. Apart from the hundred or so who have the police escort, Villa mostly keep a low profile near the ground. I can only recall West Ham in the 2011 semi-final who made themselves known before and after the match.

What's more embarrassing, us wanting to be locked in(if true) or your lot struggling to sell out your cup final in a reduced capacity?
To be honest, probably the former. There is only about 50 tickets left despite the strict selling priority. It was eight thousand off the capacity in the cup match last year, thought it would had sold out taking into account the fact that Villa are a massive footballing global superpower. Our ‘cup final’ was when we beat Arsenal at Wembley in 2011, the match on Sunday (or any other match where we have won against you) will never come anywhere close to it.

I was surprised we never got close to selling out against you, and I admit it was poor. Anyway may the best team win on Sunday. Going on about cups you've won in the past! Your getting as bad as us :bg:

it was better when Leeds used to give teams the whole end behind the goal. Not that we used to take that many often. It's one of the more expensive grounds to get in mind.

Anyway, back on topic...

Another wank following up north on Saturday, doubt it'll reach 1k with the way sales are going.

Nobody other than the Villa lot have mentioned about ‘violence’ or any other synonym. I only made mention to the fact that the Villa fan groups have asked to be locked in at full time :dk:

Blatantly fishing for ‘likes’ there. It was just one lone Bluenose laying the bait for the Villa lot to go in ultra-defensive mode.

I call Bravo Sierra. It’s something a few Villa fans like to tell themselves on H&V to feel more ‘superior’ over Blues and West Brom. If you repeat it back to yourself a few more times you might start believing it.

And there we are, more vocal on the coaches than from ever walking up to the ground
I'll have my final say on the matter. Villa fans have not asked to be locked in. There was a meeting between both clubs and WMP and the police put forth the idea which both clubs agreed to. Villa fans don't want to be locked in because it just creates more trouble and they are more of a target. They would rather leave together and just mingle in, trust me it's true. That video yet again proves nothing. If we was that bothered we would not go and we would not sell out everytime. anyway I think everyone is getting fed up of this bickering between villa, blues and Newcastle fans and I'm sure they will be a lot happier once we are out of this league so things become a bit more peaceful.

Let's keep on topic please. Villa/Blues lads, make a separate thread if you want to argue with each other about coaches.
