Looking at who we have played and who we have yet to play, ours will only get higher, expect about 2.5k average at end of season. Well behind Geordie's, you and Leeds.

We still have Wigan, Blackburn,Fulham,Newcastle, and Brighton coming up that are all over 3k. All depends on form how many we take to Newcastle but Wigan and Blackburn will be 5k plus.

Interesting that Newcastle's away average is very similar to Burton's home average support. Yet due to allocation's given and the draw of Newcastle they will probably end up (officially) taking similar numbers to each others ground. (Ok I admit interesting to me but boring really).

I only remember you bringing more than 2k in 14/15 when you went up, which was also your gentry day.

That's not to say your support to ours is bad though. It's not as close as people might think (as I found out when I went to Deepdale a couple of years back).

We took 3k for that Gentry day, pretty sure there were 2k there last time I went there in the Championship as well though, think we were dicked 3-0. 2008 or 2009 maybe, not sure about the season after that.

I do they are by far the best ones. But all clubs take a lot more to Fulham than other London games.

As someone who has just recently joined this thread and a supporter of a so called 'bigger club' I really don't get why supporters of the 'bigger clubs' try to laud it over the 'smaller clubs' because they have a higher away average. I take my hat off to the likes of Leeds, Sheef Wed, Huddersfield, Preston and Bristol City who have decent and most importantly vociferous support away from home. I really hope that if we end up staying in The Championship as long as they have been that we get the same support as them. You are a credit to The Championship I applaud you.

I lived in Studley, about 20 mile out of Birmingham, from the age of 3 - 19. Once a Villain always a Villain.
