Wigan's looking like a good day. Drinking in Preston to avoid hassle in wigan before a 10 min train journey at about 2 ish to wigan.

Piss poor following from Blackburn last night, were the tickets 22 quid for them also?

Less than 10,000 home fans at Preston last night, surprised their crowds haven't picked up given how well they're doing.

Our home support is shite nowadays. Our away support remains very respectable though.

You could go into any pub/workplace and chat North End with a good number of people who are knowledgeable about the current team. However, folk just simply don't attend Deepdale anymore, sadly.

Our home attendances are shite and with the Playoffs now looking highly unlikely a lot of the part timers have just given up. Valentines day doesn't help either.

To be fair, Wigan's and Blackburn's home crowds have fallen below ours after a handful of years outside the top flight and loads of recent success, what would they be like after 54 years like us?

I'd argue that our past 6 years have been far worse tbh.

Don't be fucking soft.

You've got some tight owners, wow! we were in a relegation battle in League One about 4 years ago under Westley and issued a winding up order a couple of seasons before that. We finished bottom of the Football League and had to apply for re-election in the 80's...

I don't think I expecting anything else from you in response to anything about Venky's. [emoji38] You clearly have very different views on them to me, we must have been through this 3 or 4 times. All I'll say is that if they were your owners you wouldn't be calling me soft for saying anything.

To claim your last six years of; 15th in the Prem, 19th in the Prem, 17th in the Champ, 8th in the Champ, 9th in the Champ & 15th in the Champ are worse than our last 50+ years is down right moronic.

You don't recieve parachute money any more, of course you're going to sell your better players, you earn pretty much fuck all through gate reciepts and have masses of debt.

It's alright saying all of these player sales are to be expected, but the point is is that we wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for their continued incompetence.

You're not the first club to make some shit appointments and get relegated, pretty obvious turnover is going to decrease year-on-year after that if you fail to win promotion.

If the last 6 years are as bad as it gets supporting Blackburn then you've had a pretty cushy time of it.

I can't even read that horrific Premier Manager 98 style infographic.

They don't call them the plastics for nothing.

I'm sure there 'boycott' (we're shit now so can't be assed going on) will go out of the window when they play Man Utd in the cup.

Some decent numbers all round last night considering the amount of blokes that'll have been spending time elsewhere with their Mrs (me included).

Brighton/Huddersfield supporters, how many are you likely to be bringing this and next Saturday? Anticipating a sell out from Huddersfield considering their form.

Well they are not proper blokes then are they. Any man who doesn't go to the football because it's fucking Valentine's day needs to sort they're life out. Plenty of reasons why people can't go to football but valentines day isn't fucking one of them. You ought to be ashamed Jamo.

Had Villa been top of the league and on their way up I'd have probably gone as it'd have effectively been a one off chance. As it happens we're both likely to be in the same division next season so I'll be at Villa Park next year.

We would've sold out if it was our big away game of the month, but we've had QPR and Rotherham away in the last week and City in the cup this weekend, we've so many games atm, costing me a bomb! so I doubt we'll sell out, but pretty sure it'll be at least 4k. Pity it's £30 but I understand that's our fault!

Fair. And yeah it's the whole reciprocal pricing thing. 4k would still be a good turnout at £30 tbf.

Speaking of which, £33 for us at QPR on a Tuesday night in March. The fuck is that supposed to be?

Now then, you could mean one of two boycotts. Whichever one you mean you're still wrong.
a) The boycotters that haven't gone on since the Kean days - those fans won't be going on Sunday.
b) The boycotters for the Blackpool game (myself included) - it was a one game organised boycott and therefore has no relevance to this game whatsoever.

Obviously there's a small minority that aren't going because of the price, and a small minority that are going that wouldn't usually (mainly overseas fans).
