Derby don't travel well unless they are doing well. Forest are much better.

It will be the city centre then I suppose. The witton arms on the island or the yew tree accepts away fans and they are close to the ground.

Fuck knows hopefully we will get the other five hundred but won't hold my breath.

The few hundred away season ticket holders batch has already been deducted from allocation according to guy on twitter from ticket office.

Any pub accepts anyone. Just don't act a prick and have a bit of common sense and you can walk in anywhere.

Witton Arms is where we went the other week, were loads of City in there and was only about 10 minutes from the ground.

would not agree with that tbf. Some pubs can be hostile regardless. The witton arms is half and half anyway and the yew tree is away friendly. Some others are not so.

Aye, blowing us away in the away average chart again... oh....

They have far better away support. You've never brought 3k to the lane in fuck knows how many years., standard Tuesday night following from forest that. They are in a relegation battle you've just failed in your playoff battle and still on a par

Would agree in all but one case, there was a pub in Burslem called the Black Bull, and they only let in regulars or people who were wearing Port Vale branded gear. Fucking weird club is Port Vale.

They were in and around the POs for about a month, if that. This season has been a massive disappointment for Derby, but for Forest it's gone as expected.

Whilst you're comparing the two clubs, have a look at Forest's home average this season. They're averaging about 300 more than us.

From the end of November to mid February they were within a win of being in the play offs.

Is that how we're assessing away support is it
Play off battle? A 10 game run out of a 46 game season isn't a play off battle. We've also had two of the worst runs in the league this year and there's still 10 games left. We've been in the bottom 6 longer than we have the top 6 this season. For the money we've spent it's been a shocking season for us and we're still nose diving.

I'm not saying our away support is class, far from it but we'll probably top this mighty away support the red dogs supposedly have for the third or fourth season running. Much of a muchness, when we're both doing well we have good numbers, when we're not it's poor. There's far better in this division.

Away fans will get the whole of the Atyeo at AG next year (4,300, rather than 2,700). Can't imagine many will sell that if we were to miraculously stay up, especially with Newcastle going up, but will be much better to have home fans back in the home stands.

Derbys home support is class they get cracking home crowds. But I definitely think forest have better away support. Forest have been shit for years derby have had 1 average season in years and still on a par.

Based on watching football for thirty years and seeing both clubs at Hillsborough I rate Forest better than Derby, both numbers and vocally.

That's fair enough, off of the back of a couple of Euro cups I can see why.

We can just keep turning a blind eye to the last few years worth of facts until they have a good season and average more than us, becomes irrelevant then. Good support is through thick and thin, there's very few who keep it up, just the usual suspects at this level. Then half a dozen teams who put decent numbers together when they're having a good season.

I don't usually give a fuck but today's Reading following is shocking. About 400 I'd guess. They're 5th ffs
And that last 2 hours is why. We're terrible away from home against anyone decent. It is a given that we will concede 2+

Only Rotherham have lost by 3+ goals more times this season than us.

I more or less agree with you. Only Leeds and Wednesday still get good away support when consistently shit in this division. (Newcastle and Villa would, if down here for long enough and with a shit team). Other than that there are 6 or 7 teams well capable of great numbers, when their team is performing (add Sheff Utd next season) but whose numbers drop drastically when their team is not performing. For me not much between Forest and Derby away, though Forest just shade it imo (Derby can be appalling when shit, seem to remember about 200 at Boro?) Different story at home though, Derby great numbers and imo the noisiest home support in the league (not difficult admittedly as everyone is shit). As you say though nearly every club is the same, perform well get good support, perform poorly get lesser support not really a difficult concept to understand. Off topic, but wish Fulham would fuck off! Seriously I know they don't usually travel well, but can any Fulham fans tell me would you sell out at Hillsborough if it was a last match decider for playoffs? Would expect you to, which would be a nice change from the normal sub 800 followings.
