Yeah I totally appreciate that plenty of other things come first before football, but why would you not choose to go to Leeds but pay more for a southern game? Just can't get my head around it, if it's costing you less and it's more local.

Principle.

Or as my Italian neighbour would say...."princhiplay"

It's not really, and you probably would go. I haven't, but he's right, it's costing you less in the grand scheme of things as a day out.

It's a matter of principle. Keep paying it and prices will continue to rise.

The combined cost is going to be similar to a trip down south or wherever but that's not the point, I can only speak for myself but I don't like being taken the piss out of and seemingly a lot of other PNE fans feel the same.

If Leeds are making a killing off away fans because they still get 1,000's turning up every week, why wouldn't other clubs do the same?

I'm going but only cos I can get it for £25. Wouldn't pay £37 and I'm a selfish c*** and don't really care about everyone else :)

I'm also going but only because I've managed to get a couple of free tickets.

Can afford it but didn't go last season because I ain't having the piss took out of me by some greedy bastard owner of a football club.

More than 20,000 gone for Wolves on Saturday. 3,500 people have actually bought tickets for Saturday, absolute nutcases.

Carve it up anyway you like but Preston number for Leeds is embarrassing. Support is support is support. Through thick and thin etc. (Veilled as a protest vote...heard it all before.)

Each to their own, I personally am not sad enough to be embarrassed by how many fans we take to an away game.

Why did you only average just over 20,000 in previous seasons when you're a one club city in the third biggest city in England?

Support is support.

Leeds have shit home support end of. Still can't sell out their home games even with the season they are having. No doubt in the prem they will be getting full houses every week. For the record our home support is far from great.

Through thick and thin? It's got fuck all to do with how the team are playing, it's to do with the ridiculous price your club are charging.

Ever thought that some fans just can't afford it, hence a lower number travelling.

I'm in full agreement with people not going. I'm sure all can afford £37 but it's an absolute joke price to watch championship football. If Wednesday don't go up £42 there I really don't think I could bring myself to pay it.

I'll just get 2 freebies for your end sell them to some grunter friends for £25 each then that will cover it, I will feel a bit better mentally then. Ill probably pay it at Leeds as not been for a while , barnsley can bollox wank away day anyway. Ipswich and Norwich can bollox too with their prices I think everyone else is near enough acceptable ain't it.?

Yeah, only because Wednesday charged us £37/39 or whatever it was.

If dem Blades charge us under 30 quid, we'll charge them under 30 quid. Likewise if they charge us 36 quid, we'll charge them 36 quid.

Surprised by this! Got TROUBLE written all over it.
Why'd you think that? Nothing ever happens down here anymore. Will probably find that most of the city fans will end up on the piss with the Geordies congratulating them on going up.

word of warning, if the unthinkable happens and they lose and fail to go up for fuck sake don't get the bedsheets out and take the piss out of them. Trust me it's not worth the hassle.
