Charging PNE £49 for the opening home game.

Preston should reciprocate that, you'd make 5x what you paid for Daniel Johnson roughly if Leeds sold 5,000 adult tickets.

Even Cellino didn't go this far, did he? Must be frustrating for fans, on one hand maybe they should boycott the game but on the other do the players deserve to look up into the stand to see no PNE supporters? We really need at the very, very least a £30 price cap for away tickets, this is getting ridiculous.

This Leeds v Villa debate is just as fascinating as it was for the whole of last season.....
Maybe it should have its own thread just like a Chesterfield fan decided that the League 2 section needed its own Chesterfield and Mansfield thread about who have got the biggest cocks. :2thumb:

Unfortunately they can't do that without fleecing their own fans

It's not £49.
It's £39 advance, £44 on the day for PNE.
Still £10 too much.

I'd say £15 too much, would love to see a 100% boycott but some will pay whatever.

Not a fucking chance I'm paying it either. I'll pay the £42 at hillsborough just because it's a match that matters

I know what you mean about it matters but the thought of handing 40 odd quid over to that despicable club goes against the grain too much.

Must be an age thing because I've been a few times and didn't look at it in the same way when I was younger.

But now I genuinely wouldn't hand over a quid to them, never mind 42 of them.

Only downside is the players probably could do with the vocal backing and if everybody thought like me there wouldn't be anybody there to give it.

Even so, I won't be contributing to their coffers.

Be gutted if we won there and I missed it though. Couldn't care less if I missed us win at Leeds.

Yeah know what you mean.

But then again you'd be putting your money into a club that the likes of Walkley Owl supports...

If I don't pay somebody will so they'll be getting it anyway. Don't get me wrong I won't be paying prices like that anywhere else if that's what was charged but luckily it's only Wednesday and Leeds that will be above about £32

You chucked the insults about my "despicable club"

In fact why am I resorting to it, you're clearly thick as shit looking at this post.

Ask Blademan if I'm reasonable....

Have to watch my step in future. Didn't realise calling a club despicable counted as a personal insult.

Thanks for enlightening me.

Sold 1,000 tickets in the first week of sales for Brum away to ST holders, been allocated 2,800 before.

Same weekend and distance as Sheffield United's trip to Boro #wearebiggerthantheblades

Yeah it should be a good laugh, getting into Brum early and making a big day of it - we'll get smashed in the game but not really arsed anymore, if we all went just to see our teams be successful we'd have nipped it in the bud before now and it took me a while to realise that.

We have Brentford away on the tuesday following Brum, two decent aways first gonna sort my train tickets for it when I get paid on monday.

We've sold 4,900 for Preston, they'll
be gone tomorrow morning when the priority points drop.

Always nice to have a big crowd (by our standards) on the opening day.

Didnt we have 5k at PNE on the opening day in L1? A dire 0-0 draw

Yeah it was around that, Boro had a similar number here on the opening day 2 seasons back as well.
