Wolves putting on some good deals to get the crowds in, every season ticket holder had the option to take two friends for £5 each, next thing you know they've got themselves a sell out, bums on seats buying merchandise and food etc, good work.

I've bought a season ticket and got 2 free tickets which I will give away for nowt on Saturday. I didn't think I'd get free tickets this year but as it's turned out I will do so I've completely wasted £414 other than keeping my loyalty points high

Because why would I pay full and then be happy to let a mate tag along for nowt every week. Maybe I'm just a tight Yorkshire man. ;)

I have a season ticket and was able to get a ticket for my brother for a fiver, I agree it wouldnt work every week but it's a decent incentive to have for the odd game or two. Means we'll have a sell out too which is always nice.

Just get the mate to sort you out with a few beers and everyone's a winner. That's all I do when I manage to get free tickets for away games.

Does anyone happen to have a list of the prices each club charges for away fans??? I'd like to plan ahead and would be very grateful for any one who can help
The away season ticket at Leeds is £800.

Normal away booking fee is £1, and last season it was reckoned that the club added another £30/40 or so on top of the combined match tickets and booking fees as well.

Barnsley have only been given 2253 tickets at bramall lane they must be classed as a bigger threat than derby so we block another 150 seats off, beyond belief. Gonna be 2 sheffield derbys this season both sold out with a total of around 11,000 seats blocked off between the two. Not one other city in the country does it.

SAG are a joke, surely the two clubs could sue them for loss of earnings, having a 39,000 seater ground sold out with 31,000 is disgusting. Apparently we have someone working with them stand by stand to sort it out, starting with the south.

You're situation is twice as bad as ours , I really don't get ours we had 32.5k in the prem for many games with 3k away fans and no seats blocked off at all. We came down and still had 3k away fans no seats blocked off, nothing has happened at all since and suddenly our capacity for a sell out this season will be about 29k it's ridiculous and yes Its potentially a hell of a lot of money lost for certain games. Even the extra 700 away fans at £30 Is 20k lost as easy as that never mind the 7000 seats you have blocked off.

Not sure why there's a problem at Lane our problem dates from 1989 and can explained in one word HILLSBOROUGH

That's not right either. There was 39k at hillsborough when we played you in the early 2000s with 7k blades fans there , no seats blocked off at all. Another game we had some of the North stand with the segregation the same as you see at any other ground. For some reason it's all gone beyond a joke in recent years.

Health and safety and the police getting too much of a say in things.

All these over the top precautions cause problems within themselves.Cordens put in place, dogs barking at you and coppers being pricks in general towards you. All this and then you have to pay a fucking fortune just to follow your football team.

Sold 1200 exactly for Bristol City tomorrow with no pay on the day. Think that's a decent effort for us given all our players from last season have fucked off.

In the early years post disaster, SYP were more or less exonerated of any blame. However since then and especially after the police cover up was brought to light, SYP together with SAG are determined there will never be any other major incidents on their patch at football matches (especially at Hillsborough).
That's why they have gone into overkill regarding segregation. (Definetly a case of after the horse has bolted).
So yes for us it dates back to the sad events of 89 and even our stadium manager (who is a southerner so has no real affiliation to SWFC) says our problems with ground capacity are down simply to the name HILLSBOROUGH and what people associate it with.
Unfortunately for you and now to a lesser extent Barnsley, SYP and SAG seem to be having a bigger say in what hapens at other grounds which come under their umbrella to.
Not going to say anymore as it can soon get controversial and enough has been spoken about it many times before.

Any idea how many you'll be bringing to us on Tuesday?

Can't imagine it will be any more than 700/800.

Four away games in first three weeks probably means Grimsby in the pointless cup will be the one most give a miss I am afraid.

That's still likely more than most will bring here this season though.

Our bottom tier holds 2,990 and is automatically fully segregated.
Last season we allowed Bradford a max of only 2,100 tickets in the lower tier.

Our next home game is Barnsley who have a final allocation of 2,253
After that our home is Derby and their final allocation is 2,393.

It's weird how the SY Safety Committee keep changing the amount, no explanation has been given.
We also have a few 100 seats not for sale on the South stand near the corner flag and a few hundred not for sale near the corner flag at the John Street stand end.

Talk about over kill? And both Sheffield clubs are losing much needed revenue.

1210 bees I never actually heard a single song from them. Completely sat in silence for the entire match what's the point in even going.
