Most not interested in paying £15 for a 2nd round league cup tie. I was one of those that didn't bother. Not interesting who we play in the next round either. League is priority this season.

Correct. Due to the ridiculous seeding that saw us in the northern section in round one, then the southern in round two. Clough told the fans not to bother travelling. So we didn't..
Although in reality for a league game we would struggle to take more than 250-300.
33 is our lowest away following since our non league days, just beating the 34 we took to torquay in 2013 on a wed night before xmas.

You missed a very entertaining game, both teams could have scored 6 or 7 had they taken chances they had. We were poor for an hour but I wouldn't take too much away from Bolton who played very well.
Carry it into league games coming up and you should pick up some points.

I've said this before, but our away support is a lot worse than it was 10-20 years ago. Back in the day we would have easily taken double that to Preston - maybe it's a reflection on modern football? I can't say much as I haven't been to Deepdale in over 12 years, but we barely take anything nowadays.

Our stadium is so far out of town you may as well call it an away game.. Include them and it would boost our numbers from shit to mediocre.

I don't think our away numbers have gotten worse, just not increased with the rate of our home support. Doesn't help spending almost all of the last 15 years in the same division playing the same teams over and over. When a different team comes up that we haven't played recently our crowds are much better. I think if we got relegated to League one our average away support would increase.
