Not going to argue, but you have to factor in the cost of getting there too. I was looking at £80 on the train and a hotel to do it as well as an afternoon and a morning off work.

It's getting better year on year though. Didn't we take about 130 the season you beat us 4:1 midweek?

That also is true but id guess there were still well over 75% of there official support last night that travelled from yorkshire. The neutral bit was obviously leeds fans that live down south.

230 round trip on on Wednesday night in October? M6 always a nightmare - particularly nasty last night, took me almost 3.5 hours to get there.
Another away game on Saturday which will be £31 a pop. 5,000 going to two games in 3 days.

Let's see where we are at the end of the season in the away averages table. That's a more sensible time to pass judgement rather than on one isolated match.

I don't normally comment too much on here but I know for a fact that plenty of Derby fans turned around and came home after thinking they were going to miss most of the first half. There was an accident on the A50 near Uttoxeter that held loads up only to find that the M6 was like a carpark when they got to it. I personally know of 2 car loads that turned around and they said quite a few others did the same. Anyway I'll let you all get back to your cock waving.

No.

Games in and around London will always be higher due to the number of fans (from all clubs) who have upped sticks and live down that way. You had good numbers at QPR the other night, but if it was 200 miles in the other direction it would have been significantly less I think.

It just never seems that far it's only over the border to Lancashire, I always expect over 1500 midweek to Blackburn from the likes of us, Derby, Forest regardless, unlike Reading.
