Been over for months as I've been insisting. We aren't good enough.

All we lack is that clinical edge in front of goal, exactly as predicted at the start of the season. As well as Leon and Billy have done the amount of big chances missed is ridiculous too, saw a stat yesterday for big chances missed and Leon was top and sharp 5th in the league. Last minute goals conceded has cost us dearly too, we've not won or drawn a single game at the end I don't think, that's fully down to us though not seeing it out, I said that early on too when we conceded consolation goals to derby and Sunderland but since then we've done it against bristol city, villa, Cardiff, barnsley.

yeah I agree with you, I said the other week didn't I that you get what you pay for up front. We spent £5m on Diedhiou in the summer, Fulham signed Mitrovic and Wolves signed Afobe in January etc, that extra bit of expensive quality infront of goal. Maybe Brooks will turn out to be like that, but from what I've seen he's not an out-and-out number 9 so to speak, but your best bet with your budget is taking gambles like you have done, and a lot of your players are players that've been in the lower leagues for a lot of their careers but have gelled well and know the system.

Our problem is we've not stuck to what was serving us so well earlier in the season, whereas you're still playing your football we've chopped and changed too much since we've had options back from injury (which previously shafted us earlier in the season, so many key players out for most of the season) which perhaps shows naivety on Johnson's part. My gripe is that Johnson will learn with us and may well get it right eventually, but why should we suffer for Johnson's development when if he does make it with us, but then eventually gets sacked or poached, someone else gets "the finished product", when we could just go out now and appoint McCarthy or Dean Smith or something who would be exactly that for us.

Blade just saw your ticketing phases for our game, how many loyalty points do you have and how are they accumulated? For example, 10 per away game? 100 for a season ticket?

About 55k but they all may have been wiped out i don't know, you get 2700 for a season ticket and between 50 and 150 for an away game, it's been running since 06/07. Quickest sell out was wednesday/forest on 42.5k this season

Ours is 230 per ST and 10 points per cup/away game on a two year rolling basis, I've got about 750 points despite fucking it off a fair bit this season.

I'm being a bit pedantic here but it's actually
10 points per match, regardless of whether home or away, League or Cup.
Just that season ticket holders get theirs in advance.

I have only about 150 pts, accrued from away matches thst I have purchased myself over the last 2 seasons ( I often purchase at earlier stage through others).
I don't get any for home matches as I work on the turnstiles.
Often wonder how many points I and other staff would be given if/when the club get unmanned turnstiles.

The fact I'm an ST holder means I don't get the 10 points for home games if I buy for others so my points stands from my circumstances.

I suppose as a youngster with ours you are gonna struggle to get tickets for the few games that sell out but there's still another 17 or 18 games that are a piece of piss to get tickets for so if they go to enough they will work there way up the ladder. Ours is fair on the other hand that people who have been to all those games over the last 10 years are guaranteed tickets.

It took us ages to get one implemented but it works well

Care to elaborate why you think that? A ban is to stop someone doing something in the future, someone who has been to hundreds and hundreds of football games in this country and dozens abroad and not been in a single incident in 13 years of their adult life, are they actually likely to do it again? Or is it clearly a stupid moment unlikely to happen again?.

It don't matter. In the eyes of the law, you're a thug. There is still a stigma attached to football fans. I suffered a 3 year ban, for something minor. Nothing will change anytime soon.

Loads of community service too, if the same happened outside a pub I swear I'd have got a small fine. I know the consequences of it for football and it's entirely my own fault. The way football fans are treated who do nothing wrong is absolutely appauling anyway. I remember going to derby or leicester when I was about 15 or around that on the train, was planning to go meet my uncle somewhere and literally got forced into a pub and not allowed to leave, threatened with arrest if I didn't go back in the pub despite not legally being allowed to drink how is that actually allowed, I soon learnt to arrive at away towns/cities for 9/10am before plod start bothering anyone.

Once v Man Utd at home I intervened when a load of united fans started spitting on a villa fan with his daughter. Instead of the police sorting them out, they decided to belt the shit out of me with their truncheons. I was on my own, and there was 5, or 6 united fans acting like animals.

Going to be a few pissed off Wolves fans I'd imagine. Doesn't even make sense... How can Newcastle fans get tickets in the Wolves end when you needed at least 1120 loyalty points to get one?

Load of shit. How could Newcastle fans get tickets for the wolves end? I know they tried with Norwich, and nearly succeeded. It has been the plan all a long to get into the ground for the wolves match, but it would be impossible to get tickets for your end. Because of all this, sadly you have no chance of any further allocation.

What sort of sad act would even try that? It's not like their own club have had a great season

That’s ironic, of your 27 posts 2 have been about football and 25 have been either a thinly veiled insult or an attempted wind up. Give it a rest or you won’t be here much longer I’d imagine.

Correct, early August.

Not my idea of fun but fans from many clubs with a reciprocal hate for each other would try it.
Remember reading both Blades and Brighton fans were trying to get tickets for our relegation decider with Palace.
I mean Brighton fans for a match in Sheffield that didn't involve their team, really?

Back to original post if enough Newcastle fans wanted too, they could go in the home ends. Judging by our match up there and the empty seats, they could outnumber the Sunderland fans. (Obviously not if Sunderland still have a chance of staying up)

Not much chance of that. They are restricting home tickets too, and I can't see Sunderland fans sorting any of their Geordie mates tickets. It's a bit sad really, that people would go to their rivals ground to cheer the opposition. Some of our lot did it at Blackburn, and it was embarrassing.

They have done alright. Survived easy enough, and still have one of the best managers in football in the hot seat.

Some of our fans are paying to fly a plane over the Hawthorns with a message on the back (they did the same to us when we went down to League 1). A few clubs do that now.

Yeah, I'm aware of that happening, and it has for a few years now. Just seems a bit stupid to go to your rivals game.
