Its shit its a near 20 min walk from the boozers/tube to the ground. Qpr,brentford, charlton, west ham, orient are all better. Infact arsenal and spurs are too. Certainly seems to attract the numbers in this league though , everyone takes thousands
Agree completely, was my second visit last season, first one was 2001, it was a shit away day....

Not surprised to see Cardiff, Middlesbrough and Ipswich as the least popular with away fans, but why are Wolves so low?

What happened last season to the Watford fan play a part in people staying away?

Of their 7 home games two have been televised and two midweek which accounts for the lower numbers.....

That's no explanation. We've had 3 on telly and 2 midweek (one of those being a tv game) from our 7.

Monday night is midweek.

Is it fuck, it's not a scheduled midweek game but either way it was a sky game making your point incorrect and irrelevant.

No, it quite clearly shows thats not the reason why away attendances at Wolves are low.

Unless their tv games were on Friday's rather than Saturday/Sunday kickoffs like we've had?

You played Leeds on Sky who are the exception rather than the rule, they took 2335, Burnley took 592 on the Monday. Are you saying that Hull and Huddersfield wouldnt have taken more than the 600 or so they managed had it not been on Sky.

We've played 3 of the same teams at home and Boro came with more to us on a Tuesday than they took to Wolves on a Saturday and Charlton came with more to Derby and both games were on a Saturday. Derby must just be a nicer place to visit.:2thumb:

Our away followings have been generally dire this season, our team on the pitch and lack of investment is to blame.

Starting Ishmael Miller upfront on his own ffs..

Honestly don't know when my next game will be, home or away.

I am surprised to see us so high up. Having said that, I think the only away days on Sky have been in London. I imagine it will drop once we have Boro on a Friday night, on Sky, with no trains home. We are now having fans saying that they wont pay money to go and watch the 'football' we are playing or while Ramsey is in charge.

Sorry, but coming from a Crewe fan?

...Crewe?
I noticed that Wolverhampton have finally came first in something... 'the UK's most miserable place' according to a new study, as reported in the Black Country's own Express & Star newspaper.

That is quite a résumé you've got going now... fifth in the 'worst place in the world to live' Lonely Planet guide, the 'least happiest place to live in the West Midlands' by Rightmove, and the 'most uncultured' by the Royal Society of Arts.

What's your take on it?

I'm devastated in all honesty, how has this happened???

I'm sure this study (if true) is probably broken down into 5 university students going around the town and asking a handful of people if they are happy or not. I heard one person was said he was unhappy in the newspaper poll because he had to wait 20 minutes for his meal in KFC. Another was unhappy because he had gone shopping he discovered there was a parking ticket when he came back to his car.

No wonder people are outraged, must be a horrible situation to be in to live in a city where such atrocities occur on a daily basis. My heart goes out to all of these unhappy people who had to talk to students writing for what is probably the worst newspaper in Western Europe.

We have been given an extra 207 for Fulham, taking the final allocation up to 4,095. And currently at 743 from 1,774 for Brighton at the end of the month.

Being neighboured by a bigger, thriving, more illustrious city of Birmingham.

Thriving? If were talking about football the city of Birmingham has Aston Villa who are bottom of the league, and Small Heath Alliance who we comfortably beat 0-2 without us getting out of 2nd gear.

If we talking about cities, then Birmingham is as much as a hole as Wolverhampton. Personally I wouldn't want to live in either city. Not even going to get onto the accent 'debate' as they're both disgustingly irritable to have to listen to

I feel sorry for you if you think Small Heath is thriving pal.

First trip to the new Cardiff stadium this weekend - couldn't get a ticket for the famous play-off win. Having been to Ninian Park many a time and seeing first-hand the fucking carnage it used to be, I'm not expecting a great deal.

I said that the city of Birmingham is thriving, which it is. It has had the largest increase of international visitors in the UK, growing its market share by 32 per cent, generating over £5 billion in 2014 alone. A £750 million redevelopment of New Street station, interlinking with one of the UK's busiest shopping centres. More Michellin-starred restaurants than any other city outside of London, with the largest Library in all of Europe.

Wolverhampton is deep-rooted in near poverty in comparison, a ghost town of empty retail units and a street of rat-infested kebab houses. There's no appeal to anybody.

If were talking about football the city of Birmingham has Aston Villa who are bottom of the league, and Small Heath Alliance who we comfortably beat 0-2 without us getting out of 2nd gear.
Well done. You were the better of two poor sides. You lost the one in April and it was a draw before that. It is how it has always been.

There's plenty going on in Cardiff, the away day I am most looking forward to. We've got them on the last day.
