They probably tried getting on pitch when they scored and our stewards can go way overboard.
Did that stem from our fans going on last season? One of my dads mates got on and never got anything for it strangely.

One of my mates is at Sheffield uni and stewards at BL on a Saturday, seems to enjoy it from what he says.

The usual really at many grounds, its a godforsaken job but if you choose to do it then do it well: Over zealous stewarding, pushing and man-handling and poor 'customer relations' perspective.

All the gangways were blocked couldn't get to seats (we all stand anyway so no need for a seat, but allocated 'space'). Oversold disabled section and unaccommodating stewards in that area so my pal I see at matches had poorer view. Had to put some Leeds in overflow "G" section where SUFC ground staff sit. Not ideal.

Our footy police have been moaning about blocking gangways and jumping over the advertising boards to celebrate when we score( North stand lower) . There was a surge at Boro when we scored and people got injured. I expect WMP to clamp down massively on this from now on.

We had same at Leeds last the other season. There was a bit of a crush as people were coming up into the stands. No room anywhere, people pissed up with little patience and thought to what was happening.

Midweek trains after the game at villa are a disgrace. After the Forest game the 9.52 I think it was got cancelled, so you had double the people waiting for the last train out of brum into Walsall and beyond, which was due at 10.22. No room on the platform then the train turns up with only two carriages and it was already packed from previous stations. A mad surge, and tentions running high as everyone was trying to get on an already full train. Kids and women getting crushed. The only train after that was only going to Walsall so me and our lot had to get on this train to get back to Staffs. Got on it in the end, but only because the platform officers made Walsall people get off to make sure others who were going past Walsall could get home. I’ve only just started going to midweek games again, but the hassle at times trying to get back is tiresome. Trains cancelled without notice etc etc.

That happens with us at most aways, we always stand on the stairs because there’s always a big group of us and we get in for kick off so there’s never enough space to stand together over a seat, also it’s grim when you score and you end up falling over 8 rows of seats and 5 mins after the goal realised you’re properly crocked.

Sounds like everyday stuff getting the tube in London.

Set that one up for you, fair point

Didn’t even get to my point with the post, what I was gonna say was that stewards always come up and stand on the stairs at whatever ground.

Ah, Depthcharge, do you know Colin Gibson(Gibbo) ? He’s in his 50s now, and is an old Leeds lad. Don’t think he’s been for a while though.

Not sure. Prob by sight. Was he a postie? Think he travels with West Midlands Whites and goes in Con club when in Leeds.

That’s him. You from Midlands?

No, Leeds born and bred. Just know a few people and people who know people.

Home and away every week for decades so you get to see many characters.

No different to most on here really...

Around 1500 Derby tickets sold for their trip to the DW on Saturday. Massive!

Took 4k to Vale for an U23s game and got fucking slapped

Got slapped? You mean the score? Looks like the fucking retards decided to just smash the away end to pieces, probably as strange as they come in the whole country stoke fans.

Yeah 4-0. Saw some photos on Twitter earlier the pitch near the away end was covered in seats, flares, bottles etc, bunch of utter mongs

Never known what to make of Stoke, seen them portrayed as quite a troublesome fanbase before but you very rarely see it.
