Good following from you lot, but think it's to little to late, a shame really because I like you as a club, wish you could stay up, but I think division one is calling, you might be able to rebuild and come back stronger though look at Sheffield United for example.

You do realise Sheffield United were in League 1 for 6 seasons before coming back up stronger don't you?
I don't think any Ipswich fans would be happy to be down there for that long (Though what they want and what they get, may well be 2 completely different things).

We’re a good example. Avoided relegation for a few years, smashed the league in the second year and have gradually been improving year upon year.

You have Steve Lansdown they have Marcus Evans, end of comparison.

True. Blades have some dodgy owner though don’t they? Same for Wolves when when they had Morgan wasn’t it? They still smashed the league.

With what I’ve seen of Lambert, I think he could bring us back up fairly quickly, given enough support from Evans. It’s just the huge gap in monies between the two leagues now and no parachute payments, 7m drop in income will be a huge hit.

Have to say though, despite what has happened this season, I actually enjoy going to the games. The atmosphere has been brilliant. Evans seems to have finally realised fans are there if he makes the price affordable, 20k against Rotherham, 18k against Derby midweek. Sent out an online survey this week to ask us what we think prices should be in both scenarios, league 1 or championship (1% hope).

He’s also ditched Ian Milne (a guy in a suit who knows more about business than football) as the person between Evans and the Manager and appointed Lee O’Neill with so much more footballing knowledge in general.

I think this is the wake up call he needed. He’s not short of money, one of the wealthier owners.

Doesn’t matter how rich he is if he’s tight as cramp either.

That’s what I’m saying, i think this is the wake up call telling him he needs to loosen up.

And what FFP is that? The one that allowed Bournemouth to power their way to the Premier League? FFP is toothless and we all know it

Not when clubs are placed under embargoes it isn't, you can't just be spending what you like sadly or our owner would, Bristol City's would, Villa/Derby etc you need to do it without splashing daft coin though for an Ipswich fan these days silly coin is a 10p mix up and a wham bar.

I think it's decent enough, when you consider the circumstances.

I'm not really assed at all tbh, but you piss me off, prancing around passing judgement on other teams support all the time, without ever properly engaging your blob of raw sausage meat brain.

Everything is so black and white to you.
To right pal, black and White is the colour, now jog on.

Millwall away is now the second last game of the season because of them getting through to the cup QFs. Can see the met allowing Millwall to give us both tiers, particularly if we both have something to play for...

Seeing as the previous few games have passed without incident, I don’t see why not.

Should clearly just give us lower tier as well its fucking petty and financially fucking thick not too. Or most likely its sypd that wont give it us, it's easy to say only give us what we gave you but our ground is smaller and there was a handful of tickets left on the shitty corner stand so all the seats were taken, if you were using it for home fans fair enough but to leave it empty is a joke.

Leeds were unbelievably loud in the first half. Once we scored they barely made a noise. Never seen such a variance between volume.

Great numbers from Brentford last night, taken seconds before teams came out so you can add at least another dozen. :bg:

We had a count up and my figure was 181, could be a few more or less, my eyesight isn't brilliant.
